Wendy Hatfield5In my search for a newer car, I visited no less than 6 dealerships across the Tri-State, and I felt condescending attitudes or apathy. Much worse, I have a physical handicap that many dealers did not try to accommodate. My father finally reached out to GM Joe Cathey at Jake Sweeney, and talked to him on my behalf to pave the way for a solid, positive appointment to test drive and discuss financing on a car. Mr. Cathey was honest, forthright, and very gracious. At the same time, I reached out through Jake Sweeney's extensive internet inventory to pick out a few cars I wanted to see. Sales Representative Keith Jenkins sent me information, answered questions, and was readily accessible. When we came in, both men were on hand to greet us warmly, bring us the cars, explain all attributes, and find me the best possible financing. When I had doubts or qualms, they fixed every issue and stayed patient without being pushy. Keith worked very well with the service department to have the car I picked cleaned up and repaired, and from start to finish the car buying process was painless and comfortable.

Adam Zucker5**UPDATE (2 Mar 2019) - Alexis from reputation management did reach out to me and was able to make things right with the spare key. I never did end up hearing back from anybody on the sales team (including Kiya who is a sales manager now), but everybody that I did get to speak with (reputation management and service department) were very courteous and professional. I would recommend the dealership to anybody, I would just recommend staying clearing of Kiya. Original: I purchased the used car on 19 Jan. The overall car buying experience was good. Sales folks are tough negotiators, but that us why they are good at it. My only complaint is I was told a second key was available and would be mailed to me with my tags (I live in Dayton) after I finished all of the paperwork and was ready to leave. I got the letter about my tags 2 weeks ago, and figured the key was just taking a little while to wrap up. I called about it two days ago and was told they would look into it and call me back. I never got a call back. I called yesterday and spoke to my care saleslady (Kiya) and she said she had horrible memory and doesn't remember telling me that. Due to that, unless I had something written up in my closing documents there wasn't much she could do, but said she would look into it, see if they spare key is still in the box of all the spare keys and call me back regardless. I still haven't got a call back. It stinks that a $25k purchase experience can all be ruined by somebody giving you their word about a $150 key and then acting like you are lying to them.

David Woerner1Purchased my vehicle from them about 3 months ago. Everything went well until after we signed. It was my fault for not knowing but I "declined" the free oil changes. I call to ask about it and was told they would need to call me back, a week later and still no call. I decided to go there after work one day and was then told it would be $200. They wouldn't work with me at all. So now I won't work with them again. They will never see me or my car again.

CONNIE KARRER5I am a returning Jake Sweeney Mazda customer. My experience with Jake Sweeney Mazda was once again a very pleasant one. Mike Kranpitz was very helpful through the purchase of my 2012 Mazda 3. The process of buying this car was very relaxed and no "nonsense". I never felt pressured to close the deal. The Mazda I wanted was not in their inventory but they located one and delivered the car on the promised date. I felt that my "car deal", including the trade in value for my 2007 Mazda, was very fair. The Mazda Service Department also provides an excellent experience. Buying a new car should be a pleasant experience. Mike Kranpitz and Jake Sweeney Mazda provided that pleasant experience for me.

Scott Gafvert5Had an issue that I brought my car in twice for, immediately after purchasing (certified) from Jake Sweeney Mazda West. Both times they refused to acknowledge the issue. Finally took the car to the Tri-County location for an oil change and mentioned the issue I was having. Took test drive with mechanic and he immediately diagnosed the issue as well as another related one. They fixed under warranty and also replaced my rear brakes under warranty. Awesome service at Tri-County location.

The specials that run almost throughout the year make it a no brainer to get your car here. Nice staff, does a multi point check every time and explains problems, provides quotes for fixes.
