  I will be recommending Tim Mayer for anyone looking to buy or refinance (he was recommended to me by a colleague). He was able to understand my situation, help determine my best path forward, and execute every part of the home buying process on time (21 day close!), without any issues, and for significantly less than my own bank.   If there is an indication about how much you trust someone let it be that not only did we use Duy Vu when we closed on our home, we refinanced with him TWICE as rates dropped significantly. He and his team are A1 and while I don’t think I can secure a lower rate, I have personally recommended him to every friend looking for a Loan Officer. Duy and his team are so effective at getting you what you need and making it easy for your to understand what your obligations are through the loan process. I highly recommend his company.

  Tim was a pleasure to work with while I purchased my house from out of state, I moved from North Carolina to Ohio. He made the experience simple by taking care of the details for me. He continually reached out to me inquiring about any new information and provided me with updates as the sale progressed. He always spoke to me with the utmost respect and kindness. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and not just that, but also that I was comfortable with every step along the way. He made it clear that if I had any questions I was never a bother for asking, even when it was repeatedly. Furthermore, he guided me with his knowledge regarding finances in what choices would be best to make and provided me with a better rate than 2 previous lenders who were nightmares to work with. After dealing with 2 disastrous lenders it was refreshing to work with Tim, and his professionalism and care really are what stuck out the most. Go with Tim! You won’t regret it.

  We contacted Doug after getting his information from a family member. We had a difficult situation to navigate around to get our mortgage for our first home all lined up. He immediately knew what to do to get everything moving. He was very responsive and his staff are wonderful too! There was never a question of if something was taken care of, everything for our home purchase went smoothly and quickly.   I cannot put into words how grateful I am for coming into contact with Burt at Mid American Financial in Cincinnati. Even though I live in Cleveland, they made it easy, as if I was local. I never thought I would qualify not just for a loan on what I refer to as my dream home but at an awesome interest rate as well with very little down. I did not think I would be approved but Burt continually reassured me not to worry. Not only was I approved but closed on my home so fast it sent my head spinning! Burt took care of me and kept me informed every step of the way! His processors were amazing as well. I had lost faith in the entire lending system at one point but that has all changed. If I ever need help buying a home again Mid American Financial will be my first and only choice. Burt was committed and saw my best interest came first. I can't say enough!   When I initially started the “House” process others told me how stressed out I would be, how much work it really was, etc based upon their experiences with other Mortgage Companies. Me being a first time home buyer, I was full of emotions and honestly, I enjoyed every step of it. Burt was amazing to work with from the very beginning. I remember calling him multiple times to ask the same question over and over. He never hesitated to answer it. Even after his job was done, and I had the keys in hand he called to congratulate me and to ask how closing went, etc. I’ve already recommend him to a few others and I will continue to do so in the future. Awesome experience all around!

  Beau Hall came recommended to me through my realtor, Michelle S., and yes, he did make the loan approval and home shopping experience easy to handle. The rates he locked me in at ended up being lower than originally expected, his company's fees are very competitive and he was super pleasant to work with. Very prompt and explanatory with the paperwork. I will certainly refer him to anyone who is looking for a home loan.

  I started working with Janet back in October 2018, she help me get through the mortgage process. More than that she walked me through it to make things as simple as possible. She made sure I had all information to make an informed decision. With the help of Chris (her underwriter assistant), they both kept me up to speed and never made me feel like they were too busy for me.   They were super easy to work with, and made my loan process simple start to finish. I had heard that Mid American Financial was really great to work with from a co-worker who used them, and they certainly were. I went to Doug to refinance my home, and he found a loan program that saved me over $200/month on my monthly payment. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, which was smooth and quick. Now I refer everyone I know to go see them.
