  As first time homebuyers Matt and his team made us feel supported throughout the entire process. Matt worked around our busy schedules, helped us with all of the paperwork, answered every question we had, and was equally as excited as we were to get us into our home. We did not anticipate the mortgage process to go so smoothly and we were extremely pleased with our choice to use MLB Residential Lending. After our closing Matt came over to drop off a housewarming gift and still checks in every so often to see how we’re doing at the house.   I got the mortgage on my first home four years ago through Travis. In October, 2016 I went back to him for a mortgage on my second home. Both times, I ended up closing ahead of schedule and with an interest rate better than I had expected. He also got things done quickly and kept me in the loop so I knew where everything stood. This time, I initially went to Travis as well as another local lender. Travis offered a rate the other lender couldn't. He was also much better with customer service. Every time I needed to talk with him he either answered the phone right away, or very promptly returned my call. The other place would ignore me for days. There was also a couple things with my personal situation that concerned me. With Travis, I felt confident that everything would work out (as it did), which is also the complete opposite of how it felt dealing with the other lender. The buyer of my first home this time went with a different local lender and had their closing delayed, which further increased my loyalty to Travis and Plattsburgh Mortgage. If the day ever comes when I am looking for another mortgage, I'll be back.

  Bank of England Mortgage is an exceptional choice for anyone hoping to get a top quality loan with a hospitality of a local branch in a nationwide company. Recommended to go to them by a close friend and turns out its one of the best decisions I could have made in this process. I had the luck to work with Travis Carter who is an excellent agent and resource throughout the long grueling process. He went above and beyond the call of duty to respond to questions even late at night and on weekends. He provided numerous options and spreadsheets to compare rates in a fast manner. Even went above the call of duty to get things movement when other side went stagnant to make sure the move ended going through on time and pushing it through as needed like I believe very few people in this business would do. One of the best things about the process was the honesty in everything that was done and total transparency. I would recommend Travis Carter and the Bank of England staff (especially including Julie Gadway !) to anyone that needs their services including my own family members and friends. Thanks so much!

  I moved from San Diego California to Syracuse New York in February 2015 because I wanted to retire and live around family members. Prior to moving, I wanted to start my search way ahead of time, about a year out. Travis contacted me via email and then via phone to see what I was looking for and explain the process. It was way too early to apply for a loan but Travis conducted checks into obtaining a VA loan for me and gave me a ball park figure to work with based on my planned retirement income. As the move date got closer, Travis re-contacted me to see if I was still looking to buy a home. He got me pre-approval for a VA loan at the amount I was looking for which allowed me to conduct all the business I needed to search and make offers on a home. He stuck with me through the whole process and I am now living in my house, probably the last house I will buy, in Jamesville, New York, overlooking the lake. Travis stuck with me for over a year. I had talked to other loan officers that contacted me but none of them measured up to Travis' knowledge of loans, including VA loans, and his professionalism and honesty. I would highly recommend Travis to anyone trying to purchase a home. He will get the job done.
