  What good is a bank that’s never open when people are off work. If you work a normal 40 hour shift forget ever being able to come into this bank. Close at 4:30 and no weekends.

  I worked with Chad Hop to secure a loan and the process was seamless and straight forward. Chad was prompt to respond and got the loan processed as quickly as possible. This was after getting the run around from a competitor which took months and was ultimately fruitless. Very grateful for his services, highly recommend.

  My husband and I were going to refinance both of our homes that we own through Jack Brown. He was by far the most immature person I have ever dealt with. He was completely unprofessional. We were told a different story every time we talked or emailed with him. He called for an update after our rental property was appraised, explaining that it got appraised high enough where we would not have to pay closing costs. Then a few short hours later he emailed us telling us that he was off and that we had to pay over $2000 for closing costs. He got aggressive when I questioned his professionalism, explaining this was the fourth figure we were given, and he retaliated like a child would. So we pulled our mortgages from his refinance process after only one house had been appraised because my husband and I decided we didn't want to risk going through on something so big with someone so unprofessional. I wrote him a simple email explaining that we knew we would be out the $375 it cost to have our house appraised, but that we had decided not to go through with him, and told him to close the loan. I got 4 emails from Jack Brown telling us how much we were screwing ourselves over, and that we were ungrateful for everything he had done for us. He also emailed that his coworkers sister had tried to refinance through LMCU, and weren't even able to close on their mortgage, and rudely said 'haha, so good luck'. Now I know the reason no one refinances with Independent Bank, try LMCU if you're ever thinking of refinancing, great customer service, and they are very professional there. We had no problem closing on both of our homes through them, and didn't have to pay closing costs on either home because the appraisers they use actually take the time to take pictures and talk with you about all of the work you have put into your home. Ask for Gabby, she was open and honest with us throughout the entire process, and very professional. It was so refreshing after having to deal with Jack Brown.

  We have been using this place for years. They staff were very nice and went out of their way over & beyond to help out mom most recently, you can tell they care.

  Love the tellers that work at this bank, they make my day every time I come in… Which is almost daily for our company!

  Very low quality service at this branch, if your going to bank with Independent dont go to this location. Bunch of I don't care kids....
