  Kevin takes a holistic approach to financial planning that helps balance short and long-term financial needs. He is calm, non-judgmental, and excellent at asking questions that help you drill down to core goals. Improving financial literacy, making a plan, and setting goals can feel overwhelming. Having a professional with your best interest in mind to guide decision making has been immensely reassuring. Kevin has crafted a plan for me that allows the freedom to enjoy more time with family, friends, and hobbies today while still aggressively planning for retirement.

  Kevin has helped my husband and I tremendously over the last couple of years in navigating our finances. When we first met with Kevin, we were fortunate to be a dual income family and have already achieved a few financial milestones; however, we knew we weren't efficiently investing and lacked clarity in our goals.   We've worked with Kevin for a few years now, and I really like the model he's set up. You pay a fee to discuss various big "topics" and build an action plan together on that topic. We've discussed plans for student loans, buying a house, and investing, and I appreciate that his approach doesn't start from a place of "here's what you should do," but instead starts with him helping you understand what's important to you. If you're doing this with a partner (which we are) it's a really good way to kickstart important financial conversations and priorities. My recommendation is you come prepared to meetings with as much specific information as possible, as his recommendations/next steps will be as broad or as specific as the information you provide.

  Over the past year my husband and I worked with Kevin to put together a financial plan. Our approach to our finances prior had been ad hoc, with no long-term goals integrated into them. Now we have a plan to check our progress against and feel good about where we are and where we are going. I also know that if anything comes up in the future that we need financial guidance on we have Kevin in our corner to turn to for advice and guidance.

  A friend from law school recommended Kevin to me. I had recently graduated and started a new job, and I had questions about savings, loans, and how to balance financial priorities. Kevin was responsive, kind, and asked me questions about my situation so that he could provide tailored feedback rather than giving blanket advice. Kevin provided me with questions to help figure out my own priorities and, based on those and our conversations, options for budgeting strategies and habits. He's easy to talk to and nonjudgmental, which made what could have been awkward conversations much easier.   I highly recommend doing yourself a favor and booking a session with Kevin. In my experience, he is both knowledgeable and nonjudgmental. I have always been skeptical about talking with financial advisors, but found Kevin to be a good fit specifically for my needs as a millennial facing student loans. Talking with Kevin allowed me to equip myself with the necessary knowledge to be an equal financial partner with my spouse and be on top of our needs as we became parents.
