  Had to pawn a gun. These ladies took excellent care of me. They have a program that sends you a text, five times, daily, before you owe payment. Very nice feature. No reason to miss a payment and lose your item. Anyway, I have since got my gun back, was very happy with the transaction and would not hesitate to go there again if need be. Thanks Hy and Mike’s pawn.

  Hy & Mike's Pawn in Layton and Roy truly understand pricing and excellent customer service. The prices are never marked high to allow for fake markdowns. No games and gouging. My last few tool and gift purchases were made at these two locations. The staff in both stores are great with the diverse clientele of pawn shoppers. If you are trying to be in the right place at the right time, try Hy & Mike's. You will find the right items for the right price. Thanks!

  My husband and I go in here a few times a month. And every time we do we receive wonderful service from the staff!. They are always willing to go above and beyond to try and satisfy your needs. They are reasonable with negotiations and always make us feel like family. If i could give them more than 5 stars i would...so for all intents and purposes..10 STARS!!!! Thank you for being the best pawnshop we've ever been to! You deserve the best in return!!

  We went in looking for a inexpensive amp for our daughter. They had many to choose from. One of the young ladies went to the back and brought out two. We felt like we got a super deal. We are so happy. The staff where understanding and out of there way helpful. They were super respectfully of my service dog(street dog) as well. Thank you. Customer for life.

  My son wanted to sell his Nintendo Switch. We went to a local game store and they would not buy it. We went to Hy & Mikes and Holly said she would buy it from him. Then she called another game store and found out they would buy it and pay my son double the money. Thank you.

  My first time in this shop was today. They will absolutely get more of my business and referrals! Holly helped me with what I needed. She was incredibly friendly and also interacted with my 4 year old. She spoiled him with candy! The guy working with her (Mike maybe? I dont know his name) was so amazing as well. Their prices are so reasonable and they are willing to negotiate to meet your needs. The business is clean and everything is nicely displayed. Nothing is crowded or hidden so no digging required. They have a great selection of jewelry. I found the ring i was looking for. They definitely run a decent shop and didnt try to overcharge or take advantage of me!   The ladies here are awesome. I’ve used a few different pawn shops and this is the only one I’ll use. Almost lost something really valuable to me but unlike other places that would have screwed me over, they went above and beyond to let me get current on something that would have no problem selling as soon as it hit the case. One of the last few businesses that treat you like a human not just a dollar sign.

  As a business owner I know how absolutely vital it is to do everything in your power to make the customer feel like they made the correct choice using your service/business - Holly went above and beyond this morning in making sure I felt this way.   Me and my wife have been in there several times and weather we buy something or not the ladies in there have been amazing! This last time I bought a few items but ended up taking one back. With no problem asked me how I wanted my refund. But I didn't want a refund I wanted to see if they can just let me look for other items and they said yes. In the end I got more item and a small refund and everyone was happy. So we wanted to show our support by writing this and thank you ladies your awsome!

  If you don't like this place or the people working it, you clearly don't have any clue about most pawn shops. The staff are amazing and always willing to work with you. People need to understand that their shop is a business and if you want more money for your possessions then you should sell them privately. I love the staff and this is the only pawn shop I will ever do business with.
