  This was my first time buying a home/getting a mortgage. While I thought it would be a daunting process, Gigi Olegario helped me out through each phase and made everything very easy and understandable for me. She was always available and quick to respond. She also helped me lock in a great interest rate! I know this because I double-checked with other companies to be sure, and this was the real deal. She has a warm and caring personality and made the whole mortgage process an enjoyable experience.

Even though my situation was not that easy to get a mortgage, but she did her best to make that happen.   I recently closed on a house and had the pleasure of working with Ken Brown as my Loan Officer. Ken maintained constant contact and made sure I knew what was going on and why every step of the way with professionalism and in a very timely manner . The market was not a buyer's market but Ken continued to help me through it and always got back to me with numbers and details as soon as he possibly could. He took what was supposed to be an overwhelming experience and made it as simple as possible for me, which is invaluable during the stressful home-buying process. I would absolutely refer Ken and Huron Valley Financial to any of my friends and family that could use their services.

  I am completely disgusted with this lender. The buyer was "pre-approved", yet they repeatedly asked for more and more documents. After dragging it out for two months, they unqualified they buyer that was "pre-approved." I also found out that the mortgage information sat on someone's desk for two weeks while the person was on vacation! This is unacceptable. It became a long, drawn out process that created more unnecessary stress. Beware! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

  We have been working with HVF for over 16 months to close a mortgage loan (MISHDA mortgage). We are on our second mortgage loan officer who is no better than the first. Endless asking for documents and things expiring and needing to be resubmitted. PATHETIC. And they are blaming US!!!!!
