Amy Nickerson1Worst bank ever. Horrible customer service...stupid and unreasonable rules... they nickel and dime you to death... save yourself some aggravation and bank elsewhere. Amy is the only one there with any common sense who can get anything done.

Sara Kent5I had a problem with one of my accounts that I set up incorrectly. I tried to get it resolved through Huntington's Customer Service but they suggested I go directly to the branch bank office because of the complexity of the issue. This bank branch management corrected my problem and it was not an easy one to fix. In my books, this branch gives outstanding service and is very concerned their customers are always happy with their banking outcomes. I would highly recommend this branch as well as Huntington .Bank I have tried other banks in the Cincinnati area and find this one is the best.

Rosie Scott1Update February 2020: Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my score of Huntington from a 5-star due to a recent snafu caused by a teller error. After making a cash withdrawal at this branch, I realized I had been shorted $40 (just 10% of my total amount). I went to the branch to solve the issue and was told they had to put in a request for an investigation because the teller in question had not been short that day (while she had been short $100, an error had been found elsewhere). I agreed and gave them all my details. A simple look at camera footage on the day would solve everything, and only Huntington has access to that. Days later, I received a call letting me know that the investigators refused to look at camera footage or even consider my request because a week passed since the withdrawal before I noticed the shortage, and only $40 was in question, not $500 or over. While I understand that many customers may ask dishonest requests over cash in particular since it isn't easily tracked, a simple look at camera footage would have solved the issue entirely without bias. Their utter refusal to take the few minutes to even look is jarring and unprofessional. Huntington's tellers tend to be friendly and helpful, but this refusal to look into the situation further simply because $40 is not enough money for them to care rubbed me the wrong way. It may not be a lot of money to Huntington, but to a customer it's a bigger issue. Additionally, I need to know for sure if it's a teller error; otherwise, that means I was robbed in my home, and I *need* to escalate this as a criminal matter. Huntington's lack of answer has left me optionless and feeling defenseless. I've banked with them for almost ten years now and love most of their tellers, including the one who shorted me (I believe she was just distracted, as we were talking). After this situation, I no longer trust them as an institution nor do I hold them in higher regard than the larger, more sleazy banks. If you want to try Huntington for your financial needs, please double-check every transaction you do; follow-up on errors is not something they consider highly, and customer satisfaction/safety isn't their top priority. My original review is included below, but I have removed bits that are no longer relevant: After banking with PNC for over twenty years (from back when my account was opened for me as an infant under Provident Bank in the late-80s), they did away with free checking unless you signed up for their convoluted Virtual Wallet program. So I did away with them and moved all of my accounts to Huntington, which at the time (2012) was one of the few local banks to still offer *actually* free checking. This is my local branch. The building itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable to go into. Their parking lot is fantastic and always has enough spaces. They have a handicap-accessible teller desk, a table with free quality pens, and a K-cup machine in the lobby along with some comfy chairs to wait in if you need to see a personal banker. I rarely go through the drive thru, but every time I have I've been served quickly. I prefer to go in the branch to see the tellers. Most of the tellers are great. Dani, Jamie, and Brianna are simply fabulous. They're friendly, helpful, and talkative. I'll often update them on my business--which is usually the reason I'm going there to begin with--and they'll ask me about it the next time I go. They never bat an eye when my husband picks out a lollipop at the front desk! This branch did update their hours to be a little less available which is unfortunate; I used to do all my banking on Saturdays before 2:00 when they closed, and the new restricted hours ensure I have to get someone else to take my deposits. Check the hours to make sure they are compatible with your schedule before opening an account.
