  I’ve been banking with HFCU since 2016. I recently purchased a home and I’ve been hit with many unexpected repairs! It’s been so stressful having to spend so much of my savings that I had to resort to taking out loans for plumbing and AC repairs. I really appreciated Logan McKinney. I initially wanted to take out an additonal personal loan to cover the cost. Logan informed me that there were other options available and that would increase my chance for approval. I was approved and the weight that was lifted I can even express in words. I’m so grateful for HFCU and their loan officers as well as their employees as a whole! Thank you Logan for working so swiftly and getting me approved and funds in my account the same day. I’m forever grateful! This is my forever bank! I don’t ever see myself banking with anyone else

  Called to get a very low loan.. considering my very high credit and trade lines I assumed it would’ve been easy to do so. Automatically declined. They didn’t even allow me to add additional proof of income. I’m so confused on why the associate Frevlyn Hatten would be rude while working with me. Moving forward we should definitely take in account that credit is serious and not to be played with.

  HFCU has the best rates around! (except mortgages for some reason). This branch in particular is open late and Saturday's! The building itself is very nice too. Staff are pleasent and even know me now. The only thing I could ask for is maybe coffee in the lobby.

Unfortunately this is a rising rate environment so rates are increasing. HFCU Mortgage has lower closing costs and we do not charge origination points fees, plus HFCU services your mortgage for the term of the loan. NMLS#673404

  This is the worst banking system by far . Horrible costumer service . And terrible for any Business Banking solutions. Did I mention the 1 ATM at the bank south beltway 8 is always NOT IN SERVICE..Call costumer service and be prepared to wait a few days .callback lol yeah a week later .

  Went in to refinance my truck and the lady on the left side corner office as you go in convinced me that Shell FCU was the better option. She gave me a plethora of reasons why Houston FCU was not the one. It was awkward. She’s either purposely trying to sabotage that credit union or she just really hates her job. Maybe both. Someone needs to retrain her or at least have her observe someone deal with potential clients. I’m staying with Shell now, but the whole experience was unpleasant. I wasted about 10 minutes of my time.
