Melissa Gorton1I regret refinancing with this company every month that I'm forced to make a payment to them. Their customer service is atrocious to say the least. When calling with questions about an assumption of a mortgage I was first given the wrong information about what to email to the department handling my specific situation. My email was never responded to with any feed back explaining that I needed to add additional paperwork and instead was just simply ignored. When I called to ask why no one was responding I was told "if it's wrong no one will respond". How is that helpful in anyway? When I asked what I needed to correct I was given a brief answer with no explaination into the specifics of what I actually needed to do and what they needed to proceed. I had to literally pull the needed information from the customer service representative. Talking to the customer service representative at Homeside is like talking to cranky teenagers. I have delt with other mortgage companies and 100% recommend working with them over Homeside Financial. Save yourself the headaches they'll cause.

Allison Kieri1Absolutely horrible!! Refinance rep promised me cash back with closing which was partly why we decided to go with this company. After closing it apparently wasn't in docs. The rep stopped responding to me after saying my funds would be mailed out. Customer service didn't help and refused to listen to rhe call and relied on their rep lying to them and denying what he said. They immediately resold my mortgage and nobody will fix the situation. I have never worked with such dishonest people. I told then I was counting on those funds and it would put me in a predicament and they didn't care or call me back to make it right. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs. Wish I would have followed all of thr reviews before proceeding

Be happy5Good and smart people. I worked with Jeremy he was very helpful. This excellent team helped me to own my dream house. They was attentive, polite, and a team worker. They was ready anytime to answer my question and always give me the update of my loan approval with a lot of details . By the way my credit wasn’t that good but Homeside Financial get it done. Mar P1Horrible experience with this company long story short they rushed me into gettin a home inspection before all documents were in order and i lost the $550 it cost me for home imspection because the deal didnt go thru and they couldnt refund me they said a multi millionaire company!! Dont use them use someone else

Silk Rivermind1I was searching for a decent mortgage company for refinancing my home, I looked online and found Homeside Financial. I contacted them and a loan officer by the name of Christopher ** contacted me. After explaining everything and answering his a long lists of questions he said that this company would refinance without any hiccups; and it usually takes 10 days to complete it. The long story short, he was keep changing the rates, adding points without letting me know and charging enormous closing cost. Finally, I gave up and asked him to stop calling me with his nonsense. I would give this company "0" star.

Melodia Stewart5Working with Homeside Financial was a wonderful experience. We were searching for a Home Equity Line of Credit that would enable us to consolidate some debt at a reasonable price. What Homeside offered sounded too good to be true, but it was true! No other company could offer us as much or at such s great rate. The loan officer, Tadas, made the whole process a breeze. He was available to answer questions everytime I had them and he never made me feel silly or seemed annoyed when I asked. Getting, signing and providing the necessary paperwork was easy and secure as it was all done on-line. Even closing was a sinch, as the Notary came to our house and we were all wrapped up in less than an hour. We even called Tadas with a question while in the middle of closing, and he was available to answer. I could not have asked for a smoother proces, a better product, or a more awesome Loan Officer!
