  As a first time home buyer I had many concerns and was reluctant to actually start it/search for a home to own for a long time. If I only knew that there are people out there like Jeff Blaxland and his team who can make the whole process so smooth and fast and almost literally hold my hand and navigate me through all steps of the process and make it as easy as possible! Jeff and his team was always there for me, helped with any my concerns, Jeff has committed to a very fast closing schedule and Jeff always delivered on his commitments and even over-delivered. The closing finished much sooner than Jeff's original estimate thanks to Jeff and his team's effort - we closed DAYS before the estimated date!! It is so good to have someone so trustworthy as Jeff and his team, able to deliver and over-deliver on their commitments and move so fast through the financing! I understand that such great result was definitely effort of all HomeFirst Mortgage Bankers team members working so well and I am sorry if I can't name every person on the team who helped me, but I also want to give my thanks to Aria, Jeff Blaxland's assistant who has done such a great job too! I am so glad that I was referred to Jeff Blaxland and highly recommend Jeff Blaxland and HomeFirst Mortgage Bankers to everyone!

  As first time home buyers Jeff Blaxland made this process as smooth as possible. The process was so quick and easy. He walked us through every single detail. His attentiveness and trustworthiness made us feel extremely comfortable. Thanks to Jeff and Cary we found a home we loved in less than a month!

  Jeff Blaxland and his team are top notch! He was able to get my refinance done in less than 2 weeks from app to close. All of this despite dealing with market turmoil and some late issues with title on my home. He went above and beyond in working with me to time my rate lock and advise on best options for buying it down. I would highly recommend Jeff and his team for any financing needs!

  I know that this company doesn’t have the best reputation based on other reviews that I’ve read. But I can only speak for my own experience working with one of their lenders — Jeff Blaxland. I have to say that if you go with anyone, go with Jeff. You won’t be disappointed. He was incredibly helpful to us in navigating our way through owning our first home. He explained everything to us clearly and honestly. He was also accessible — he would respond to our texts and phone calls every time we needed help, and I know sometimes we tried to reach him at odd hours (sorry Jeff!) but working with him made us feel at ease and we felt like he had our back regardless of whether or not we went with him as a lender (and we did talk to a couple of other lenders. They just couldn’t match his work ethic or honesty). He got things done fast and easy and we are happy that he was able to help us navigate our way through the escrow process. Would highly recommend.

  Buying or refinancing a home is never easy, but I was pleasantly surprised with how stress-free and transparent it could be. My loan officer Kirsten was extremely informative and patient with us..she never left us in the dark like our last lender did, and she was always so responsive at all times throughout the day. I truly felt like I had control over this refinance process this time, and she provided us with all options that really made me feel like she was looking out for our well-being financially. 10/10 will be back to refi in the future.

  Kirsten has been extremely helpful with our refinance. It’s been the smoothest process we’ve ever gone through with a mortgage process like this. I think we finally learned a lot about the business the ins and outs and it really helped us feel comfortable with what we were doing. A+ customer service!!

  I just recently closed on my first home. I worked real closely with Jeff Blaxland who was very informative and maintained the best communication I have ever experienced. From the very beginning he was very transparent with me, truthful and honest. He made sure to keep me in the loop with any progress that was made. Everything was handled in a timely manner and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. For being someone that had no idea of the home buying business, Jeff at HomeFirst Mortgage Bankers was also a very good teacher, especially when it came to "breaking things down". He made sure I understood everything before moving forward with any decisions. Very appreciative and thankful for going through HomeFirst Mortgage Bankers for my first home purchase!

  My husband and I worked directly with Jeff Blaxand and he was amazing! He answered all our questions, and believe me we had a ton. He was super responsive and always willing to help. He came highly recommended and we have referred him to several others as well. Definitely give Jeff a call!

  I worked with Kirsten Yi who was very responsive throughout trying to refinance. She recognizing my desire to balance customer service with cost, and was able to do that. In the end I needed to halt the process a week or so prior to closing, and Kirsten remained gracious and helpful. So while I didn't complete the process, the impression I get is that h1mb is a respectable and efficient mortgage broker.

  We had a 21 day escrow on a new home and also a refinance on another home at the same time. Jeff Blaxland was on top of everything. Shopped around for the best rates and got us to close fast. Always in communication and will work to get the job done.
