  Had an unpleasant Zoom meeting to complete my taxes with Jenny Felton. 1. She got on the scheduled call late. 2. She was distracted throughout the meeting. 3. I had to point out several deductions despite providing the information to her in advance, which she admittedly did not review. 4. Overall she was short, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I would not recommend using this tax professional. The Zoom appointment in theory sounded like an efficient use of time, but ended up being very unnerving.

  I can’t recommend Kevin Swafford enough. He’s great! I was on the search for a new CPA/tax preparer since my previous one from another state retired. I met with another tax preparer in Mt. Juliet before meeting with Kevin. I’m glad I listened to my gut and didn’t hire the other person because she was polar opposite of Kevin. Kevin is friendly, warm, professional, and knowledgeable. In addition, his rates are very reasonable and he turned my taxes around with lightning speed. He’s been incredibly responsive any time I’ve sent him email. If you’re searching for someone who knows their stuff and is very helpful, stop searching and talk to Kevin. You won’t be sorry.

  My parents have used Holmes & Swafford CPA's for their tax returns for many years now and have always been very pleased with the service. This was the first year my husband and I used them and they were great. Kevin made the process very easy for us. He was very professional and quick to respond to all of our questions. I would highly recommend their office to anyone looking for tax prep or other CPA services.

  After spending countless hours in contact with the TN department of revenue regarding an LLC, I contacted Kevin at Holmes and Swafford as I realized I was over my head. Kevin reached out IMMEDIATELY, advised me to share the correspondence and he took it from there. He quickly filed all the needed forms to the state and took care in a day or two what I had been messing with for weeks. Most of all it was the sense of security that it was done correctly and at a very fair price. I sleep well now knowing that I will hand over my paperwork to Kevin and he will help keep me in good standing with the state. Highly recommend.

  Kevin Swafford and his team did an absolutely amazing job putting together our 2018 Federal tax returns. They knocked out our business (partnership) return and 2 personal returns in record time. Kevin stayed online until late in the night so that we could meet the IRS deadline to file. His team took the time to analyze our financial situation and develop a strategy that reduced our tax liability by a significant amount. Overall, I would highly recommend Holmes and Swafford's Mt. Juliet office for CPA services.

  My family's return was quite difficult including 2 other states but was handled quickly and expertly. We appreciated Kevin Swafford's expertise and attitude during the appointment. I can't say that I will look forward to tax time next year but we definitely enjoyed our tax experience this year and look forward to the same experience next year.

  Kevin-great job on our 2018 taxes! I have moved all over the US and probably used 8-10 different accounting firms and you guys can stand up with the best of them. From my perspective you were very timely, accurate and cost efficient and exceeded my expectations. Great group to work with.
