High Octane Harley-Davidson Reviews

Jed Ferguson5I’ve been part of the Harley family for alittle bit over a year. Just recently I got my secound Harley from high octane Harley Davidson Billerica. Rick and the sales team made it possible for me to buy one of the last dyna street bobs available at high octane. Great staff and great service! I will definitely be back to buy another bike!
Response from the ownerJed, thanks for the 5 stars! We concur, Rik is the best. Thank you for being a part of our HOHD family. Look forward to seeing you at some of our events! Congratulations on your new purchase.

Mounir Jermany5Big Kudos to Brian J. General Manager at High Octane Harley. Brian J. is the real Diamond at the dealership, the one and only! I emailed Brian J. and shared the horrible experience I had with some Sales/Service employees over the past 14 months (see my previous review below!). Must note that Brian J. was not with High Octane at the time when I bought the bike. Brian tried calling me three times on a Friday afternoon and made the time to meet with me at his office the following Monday. Following our meeting, Brian looked into it that the service & maintenace are done promptly, and had the tire replaced free of charge. What a huge difference you made Brian! The 5 stars are well deserved. Thank you!!! Mounir J Previous review: Terrible After Sales / Service Department- I would have given their Service Department a 0 if I could. Bought a 2017 CVO Limited; and made the unforgivable mistake of buying the V.I.P. package! Once you've paid for the V.I.P. package, they know you have been had. They already got your money for maintenance, hence they no longer need to make any effort whatsoever to earn your after sales business! At least, that is how High Octane Harley operates. I sate that after numerous major disappointments resulting out of High Octane failure to provide a fair and reasonable service. First and Foremost, the brand new CVO bike was delivered with a "dead battery" and low pressure "rear tire". I called the sales team at the Dealership and their response was :"the bike had no problems when it left the dealership"....!!!! I bought an air compressor and a Harley battery Charger and dealt with it myself. Exactly 14 months later, I called to let them know the rear tire is still losing air pressure -albeit at a very slow pace- they said stop by and we will take a look at it. A few days later, I took the bike in and was told it will be a two-and-a-half hour wait, I waited and two hours later the bike was still out... the front desk person said they are too busy today, so I booked an appointment, and sure enough the following week I took the bike in again and was told this will be a four hour job... It was just before 10:00 am. I asked if they could be kind enough to text or call me to let me know the status. I took the afternoon off, waited for High Octane to text or call... to no avail. the following morning I called to check on the status, the same front desk guy (Joe) says he does not know when the bike will be ready! I tried to reason with him, but could not get anywhere. He does not know when the bike will be ready for me to pick up! He knew well I took the previous afternoon off, waited for him to text or call me, his answer was :"it will be ready when it will be ready". Buyers beware! and if you do end up buying a brand new bike from High Octane, just make sure you DO NOT BUY the V.I.P. package! once you do, you are SCREWED! they no longer need to earn your after sale business!
Response from the ownerThank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate the 5 stars.....

Jim Wojdylak1I Called up there for a friend i was promised they wouldn't pull any of the blah blah sales BS. We get there my friend was looking for a black road glide ultra the salesman was all over the place and kept going to other bikes were like no a RG ultra black. then the sales manager "diamond Dave" who thinks he's far smarter than he is comes over completely unprepared has no clue what Tim is looking to buy or trade and starts with the how much are you putting down what can you afford a month bullshit. these people were paying cash but yet he kept going on about monthly payments until we finally made him give a sell price which was crazy high! He then went to a number that i knew was a grand too low he came back over and sure enough had to raise the price a grand. They give a deposit and verify it's big enough for them to add accessories on the bike so it will be done when they pay the balance. they are told the deposit will get the ball rolling. They then take our friends on the tour of the departments the clothing people kept on his wife about jackets etc. for ever these people have ridden for years they had all the great they finally get handed over to parts where even thought the salesman chris had Told them he would get them a 20% friends and family discount on an initial parts order the parts guy looked at them like they had 2 heads we call chris over he says i never said that grrrrr. tim tries to get pipes and a vance and hines tuner he's then told that would void his warranty even though Chris and Tim had had an extensive conversation about it. He decides to buy the slip on mufflers air kit and screaming eagle tunes and have it installed there so as not to void the warranty.... a tuesday he gets a phone call from chris asking if they were going to finish the deal tim like of course is the bike ready he's told they cant work on it until it's paid in full after much back and forth they are forced to give an additional $3,500.00 deposit and high octane will get the bike ready . sunday they get another phone call from Chris asking if they are going to finish the deal once again Tim asks is my bike ready and he gets once again gets we won't work on it until it's paid in full! to say Tim came unspooled would be an understatement at this point they finally get upper management involved and make an appointment to pick up the finished motorcycle at 9:30 am the following saturday.... The following saturday we meet in oxford Ma at 8:30 in the morning a great day planned to pick up tim's new bike and 6 of us ride up to the Looney bin in laconia for lunch. Well we pull into high octane and tim's bike wasn't out front we knew something was wrong we are told they need another hour to finish the bike but to go to breakfast down the road and they will pick up the bill. we aren't happy especially since they had confirmed the 9:30 appointment multiple times. we come back from breakfast and we are told at least 2 more hours but finally they decide to let tim use a bike but it's already noon too late to head to laconia we finally get the text at 4 or 4:30 that the bike is ready. we show up we look the bike over there's a big scuff on the tour pack the lights for the tour pak weren't plugged in and the fog lights were installed upside down we rolled out of the dealership around 5 that day!!! this place has one of the most f'd up sales processes i've ever seen no one has any clue what anyone else is doing and use predatory sales techniques. customer service is non existent i'd highly recommend NOT buying a motorcycle there

cliff lowell1I would have given a better score but the pushy salmon didn't want to listen at all...there was no negotiation what so ever on the price of the bike ...none..."there's no room no move on these bike " such bad representation of a dealership with such great reviews...

Monty Grimes5On Saturday I bought a new Road King from High Octane and dealt with both Michael and Michele. I have a fairly long history with them as I bought my Fatboy from then 2-1/2 years ago. I have never had a bad experience there from any department and have always been treated with attention and respect. I would recommend this dealership if you have any Harley-Davidson needs.

Ryan Soukaras5The great service from this location started when I first contacted them online about a motorcycle. I received a phone call within 24 hours to talk about the details and set up an appointment. The man over the phone was very helpful, and polite. We set up an appointment for me to go in a couple days later, they called me on the day of the appointment as a reminder and they even remembered that I had a lunch obligation in the afternoon. They made me feel like family and were very personable. Once I got to the store they were very accommodating and offered myself and my family waters, food, and couches if we needed to sit. I told them roughly what I was looking for and Varun Verma the FIT specialist knew exactly where to take me and what to look at, it was almost like he was reading my mind. Varun was very friendly to my family and I throughout the whole experience. I had to leave the location for my lunch obligation and while away Varun continued the paperwork for me so there would be less for me to do when I returned, which was very cooperative. Upon my return to the location Diamond Dave was ready to talk numbers with me and had everything laid out for me. We went through multiple options to ensure I was getting the best deal that worked with my price range. I had a budget that I could not go over and Diamond Dave ensured that I was within my range. Overall everyone that I encountered at this location was just amazing. Whether you are a new rider, or a seasoned rider you will always feel like family here and they will treat you with respect, kindness and go above and beyond to fit your needs/wants.

Karen Dias1This is by far the worst dealership I have ever stepped foot into. I have been fighting with them since May and have had to report them to HD Corporate offices. I gave them two chances and should have realized after my first horrendous experience not to go back...but I did and only reason I returned there was for their salesperson who has now left there as well. The first time around I went there to purchase a used Streetglide which I did but after waiting three weeks, there was just no title to be found!!! Seriously, who sells a bike without a clear title. After reading reviews I believe this was a way to get me to purchase a new bike...which, like a fool I did...hated it and went back this year to see my salesman and trade it in. I find it incomprehensible that a dealership as large at HOHD has such a limited supply of parts. I wanted Screaming Eagle pipes put on and had to wait over two weeks...seriously...then on top of that my brand new HD Softail Heritage came...you got it...no inspection sticker. When I called up to ask about this I was told..are you ready....they ran out of stickers!!!! Never was told this and only realized it wasn't inspected when I was at a gathering of my friends!!!..So I had a little hissy fit with them and then they "inspected" my bike ...by sending someone up to slap a sticker on the bike and bring a print out inspection sheet from the day prior...don't think the new bike was inspected. Funny but I was told by the service manager that they had to have the bike to inspect, but there general manager got on the phone and said he would do it "remotely"..until the service manager said they would be fined up to $10,000 for doing it that way. I am looking into reporting them to the state for this one. I took it to another dealer to have it gone over thoroughly to assure it was ready to ride. They put my new pipes on but "forgot" to replace the heat shields; I have been fighting for weeks to get these...hands up in the air in frustration...STAY AWAY!!!! ps: it amazes me as I read these reviews that only ones that are answered by HOHD management team are the positive posts. One would think that you would really want to address the negative posts to improve your reputation. When I mention HOHD to by peers I get a lot of snickers and the "you should have known better"
