  I have never written a review before, but I want to alert people that need a pool loan to know the truth and be aware of the HFS company. On their website, they advertise that you get the same day answer, that the process is simple with some basic documentation, and they do not perform a hard inquiry, and they do. My husband applied ( Octavio Garcia) for a pool loan, and after two weeks of providing them with millions of supporting documents and 721 TransUnion, 726 Equifax, and no credit card debts, they denied the loan. I understand that they can choose who they approve or not because every case is different. Just be aware of whether you wish to apply or not!!

  I typically dont write reviews but in this case there is no way I could not write one. I was given a list of companies that could fund my pool. I initially reached out to another company and completed the application. I was given a preapproval and a very high interest rate. A few days later I reached out to HFS and spoke to Alan. I told him I had already applied with another company but I was not happy with such a high interest rate. He told me he could absolutely do better than them and he was RIGHT!! Alan went above and beyond and kept in constant communication through the process and once I had final approval the money hit my bank within 2 days. If you are looking to get funded for a pool loan DO NOT go anywhere else. Go straight to Alan at HFS!! Seriously. You will not be disappointed.

  I wouldn't say they are a bad Company I wouldn't say they are a bad Company, but I wouldn't say they are the top pick as I have dealt with several as I do my own research on each company and business. So to be exact my first time calling HFS I spoke to a female who claimed me and my wife had to make up to $100,000 together in order to obtain a loan. I then called back and spoke to a completely different person who said that was untrue and that it goes by credit score and other factors. Well me and my wife on all 3 credit bureaus have a credit score of 740 and 766. I was told for $50,000 dollar pool loan at a 7.99% rate would run us about $528.00 a month. They were honest which I respect, but as the only area I find interesting is this was a soft check and not a hard check as they claimed my wife's score was low. Well that's ok I won't argue on there end as there are 3 different checks on credit scores. But what I do find hilarious is when I spoke with Larry and he said be careful if I go with another business, because once the funds go to a contractor that's it and I can't get it back. Well this is many reasons why you never let the right hand know what the left hand is about to do. That's why you make sure who the business is, how much each project is, and read the contract thoroughly. I also have two attorneys that I hired to insure that they read each contract where I would not have to worry or overlook anything. Now today 09-23-2020 there company wants my post off trust pilot off cause I reported there bs! Can’t handle the truth type business.

  HFS was great! The process was quick, easy and convenient. Jay and Courtney were a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The interest rates were fantastic and I am still surprised at how easy and fast it all was. Great experience! I would highly recommend them!!!

  Unprofessional The communication and follow up was not good. I had to leave several messages and even contact another person before getting a response. The initial papers we signed said 4% rate, then the next person said 9.4%, and by the end it was over 10%. Very unprofessional in my opinion and plus not everyone was on the same page. HFS is basically the middle man. They approved us for the amount we needed, then took $3,000 away for processing, leaving us short money for our project. They knew exactly how much we needed and then shorted us money. Had we known about the hefty processing fees we would have asked for a larger loan. I am excited about our home improvements, but really disappointed overall with the misinformation, lack of communication, and professionalism of this company.

  Working with HFS was really a great experience. We received the best rate from HFS out of several other well known pool lenders. HSF’s service and communication was excellent, timely and professional. The process with HSF was really easy and I highly recommend them as their rates were the best hands down.

  So this is how it went. I reached out to HFS on a Thursday, I forwarded the paperwork (minimal) to them on Friday and my loan was closed, funded, and the money was in my account on Monday. That simple. I've never experienced a better, more seamless financial process in my life. I worked with Adam and Courtney, who were very professional and friendly. Top tier credit gave me a very reasonable interest rate for an unsecured loan. Don't hesitate to work with this company. I couldn't be happier.
