  Few years back I gave them a 5 star review and their customer service and loans team was great and above expectations the first 5-7 years I banked with them and I told my whole family, good friend and co works looking at loans to check them out. Over the last 3 years there hours have been shortened, the loans team seem to all be in one location but primarily what made me change my review is I tried calling the Verona office today which you can not call directly from the numbers listed online anymore I had to call a primary number and ask to get transferred to the Verona branch. It took 4 calls to get an answer and not a voicemail but once transferred the Verona branch ignored my call that I let ring for 5 mins with no answer I then pulled up in the drive through with my phone still ringing and asked why they ignored my call/was not answering and was just told I would have had to stop in ethers way for what I needed. Where I put my money or borrow money will be at a bank that makes my day feel better just from the atmosphere and the greeting from the tellers when I walk in or pull up in the drive threw. I also want to know I can physically talk to someone without getting sent to voicemail or just left ringing.

  Great credit union with great products. Friendly and helpful staff. Always support your local credit union and stay away from banks. No reason using any bank.

  Not very happy when you call the number to get assistance they tell you next customer representative will talk to you shortly then you get sent to automated service and nobody ever gets back to you very bad service been doing business with Heartland for over 10+ years very Unsatisfied

WIth the onset of the COVID, our Call Center has been disperesed and there have been very few instances where we may have lost a call.   Very arrogant and rude when discussing a loan discrepancy; the company wouldn’t exist without the customers- that’s why you put them first.

  Worked with Jeff Rauch on two different mortgages, he's extremely helpful and makes the stressful process a little easier

  Be careful with them when getting car loans. they force their own insurance on you.

  Mohammed, email me personally -- I'd like to know more about this. As far as I know, we don't "force" our insurance on anyone. However, we require that all collateral be insured.   This is a great place to bank at, its a credit union, which beats having a regular bank account anytime.
