  My Dad just moved to Knoxville and was looking to purchase a Jeep. I connected with Eddie Miles over at Harper Jeep Ram to check out a new Gladiator Mojave. Eddie Miles did a great job working with him to get the deal done. Great sales person, great company, and great experience!

  Very disappointing. Emailed the dealer for a price quote and then called to confirm said price. Price was confirmed and then emailed to me a second time along with a video of the owner talking about how “easy and transparent” the process is. Scheduled shipping for the car and awaited further instruction from the dealer. Instead of further instruction the dealer tried to call me and add $5000 to the price as “additional dealer markup” despite giving me the price both verbally and in writing. Told by the GSM (Cory) that he wouldn’t honor the price. This is America so I honestly don’t care what dealers want to add for additional markup but if you say your going to do something…$5,000 shouldn’t be enough to lose your credibility. However, apparently cars are extra expensive nowadays and your credibility is going for cheap. Very impressed with Gary and Eddie who went above and beyond but the management team let them (and Mr Harper) down. Obviously this is just one man’s opinion and I hope this does happen to anyone else. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Update: It is clear from multiple communications with Mr Harper directly (and from his response) that he somehow still feels like this review is about a mistake made on the dealers part. Mistakes happen all the time (In fact often by myself 🤣🤣) This is about owning a business and doing what you say you’re going to do. Your word either means something…or it doesn’t. That is what this review is about. As I explained to him in an email about his offer to order me a Jeep: “So, for clarity, you would have two Wranglers (the one we're discussing now and the one you order me) . You're going to sell one for MSRP, and one for $5000 over MSRP. Why in God's green earth would you make the customer wait 4-5 months when you made the mistake? I'm not great with math, but it's even the exact same amount of money. And your "local clientele" still only has one Jeep in both scenarios so it doesn't even benefit them.” This isn’t about money…it’s about principle. Heck, I make my living working for auto dealers so this review will probably cost me 10x this in the long run.🤣🤣

  Harper Jeep is the most outstanding dealership I have ever done business with and Charlie Goodman is the best salesman I have ever worked with. I am 76 years old and do not make these statements lightly. I am impressed and so thankful for having a dealership and salesman like Harper and. Charlie. TOPS in my books!

  It was good to see that Harper has extended it’s excellent customer care philosophy to their new Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Jeep store that’s on Alcoa Highway. Their customer service in Management, Sales, and F&I are second to none. I haven’t needed the service department yet but I did talk to the Service Manager. I was very impressed. Charlie Goodman, my salesman, was excellent. He had tremendous product knowledge, and answered all my questions without hesitation. He made my truck purchase a breeze. He really took care of me. Cory Clark, General Sales Manager, went out of his way to make sure I was totally taken care of and was happy about the whole Harper experience. I was. These guys are truly sincere about making you feel a home. They want you to come back. And I will. Their not just blowing smoke to see how fast they can get you in and out, then go on the next victim for the same crummy treatment. My next vehicle is coming from Harper on the World Famous Motor Mile in Alcoa.

  My daughter is a student at UT and had a flat tire. I'm hundreds of miles away but spoke with Ricky in the service department and he was so helpful and put her and me completely at ease about the process. Very friendly and professional and took great care of our Chloe. Thanks so much!! Eric

  Put in a situation that the customer can’t win. While on the highway a piece of trim flew off an almost brand new vehicle (purchased elsewhere), and the warranty won’t cover it since I couldn’t provide the piece as evidence for manufacturer defect. Then I’m told installing the new one will require additional time, since the trim pieces are known to fly off while driving. $700 for the repair - this is the kind of thing Rice would have stepped in and covered, instead of blaming manufacturer requirements.

  Just went to look at cars and ended up buying a cute Dodge journey Brandon Thornell was the sales man and was so charming and let me take my time looking there was no pressure at all. Everyone was so helpful and courtious.

  Let me say I started the buying process across the street at west Chevrolet, and was treated poorly, they even suggested that I go to Ram , I'm so happy I did, Chris and your team treated us like we were Family, we will be bringing my wife's new jeep there for anything she may need, and we will also be bringing my daughter in next week to shop as well...you have 3 more customers for life because of your wonderful staff
