  We love everything about Guild! Emily and her team have helped us with 2 loans and we're in the middle of our 3rd. My husband and I are both in the real estate world so we deal with a lot of lenders and loan officers. Emily and her team are so on top of things, responding to my emails after hours and weekends when needed. They have helped us figure out financing in tricky situations and always with patience and a smile. I have referred a few people to Emily and they have all raved about how great she was to work with. They have a streamlined process, great at communicating, competitive rates and fees and we were shocked with an awesome gift after each loan!   The absolutely best decision I ever made was to contact Guild mortgage when I was looking for financing for my first home. The team was fast, efficient and answered every question I threw at them. Emily and Melissa were there through every step of the process and I’d definitely refer every family and friend I know to them.   We looked into here because of the cheaper rates but we had to get info done quick. Emily got us pre-approved quickly but I asked 3 times to show our estimates with what Utah housing would cover and she never gave them to me. We already had those from another lender and every time she sent me something she would bring up how she had a feeling we would go with the other lender, or she figured we would, which I thought was unprofessional. Needless to say, if she couldn't get me an estimate with what I asked, I knew deadlines wouldn't be met

  I am so sad to know M M feels this way. The only reason I never sent a quote for Utah Housing is because if they were pursuing Utah Housing, then I felt they should go with the initial lender they had been working with, out of respect for my competitor. Utah Housing loans are contract loans. And every lender is offered the same rates as one another. I had sent our "lender fees" on quotes for other loan programs, that differentiated us from the other lender. I have been lending since 1997. This review broke my heart. And I am so sorry to M M that I came across as uncaring or unprofessional in anyway. That was not my intent at all.

  Emily, Melissa and Mel are great to work with, they go above and beyond absolutely the best. If you are looking for a mortgage company that will go above and beyond, Guild Mortgage will jump through hoops for you, I highly recommend them to everyone.

  I would love to give this lender more than 5 stars because the customer service is exceptional . I would never hesitate to send all of my friends, family and clients to Guild Mortgage , I have worked with several people ...loan officers and supporting staff ...and each one has been as helpful and informative as one could ask for . Highly recommend .
