Adam1Been trying to get my refund from this bank for the last few weeks. They refuse to acknowledge my receipt from Amazon stating they processed a refund to this bank, and yet Greenfield Savings Bank states they never received the funds to put back into my account. I fear they will be stealing my $150 and the only way I can make them give me my money back is to team up with Amazon to force them to do so.... so sad to see such incompetence. As soon as this bank gives me my money back I'm closing my accounts. They shouldn't be in business if they lose their receipts and don't know where the money is coming in from.... two years ago this bank was great. I've been a loyal customer for years, and this is the thanks I get for my business. Words can't describe how disappointed I am in this business, and the way they have handled this issue.

lucia d'errico1Tried to open a checking account. Like most people, don't walk around with a birth certificate. Instead of simply telling us that we couldn't open a checking account without a birth certificate, the teller and her manager decided to have a conversation behind a locked door while giving us suspicious, furtive glances despite us having shown MULTIPLE pieces of identification and having multiple accounts with Greenfield savings already. When teller came back she didn't say anything. Then they went BACK behind the locked door. Finally just told them that we would come back another time. Have never had any issues at any other GSB locations, but def don't recommend this one.

Natalie Kelahan1I wish I could give less than 1 star. We had to make at least 3 trips to just open a checking and savings account because they didn’t ever tell us all the required documentation we needed. 3 days after depositing our money into the savings, it still didn’t show up on the online banking. After multiple phone calls and over 30 minutes with the branch manager, she was finally able to find out that the guy that opened our account, Caleb, never hit the submit button and that this has supposedly never happened before. If I knew it would be this much of a headache, I would have never opened accounts at this bank.

Elaine “LadyScorpion BloodDragon” Fletcher5This is a GREAT bank and they very helpful and friendly to me since I moved here from East Tex as last 12-14-14. It is a small city Bank and it can get busy at times. It seems to me all those who gave it bad reviews were patient people. I say their LOSS because all the employees have been nothing but caring and helpful to me each time I go in to handle my banking business.

Seoul Survivor4This is a great place to do your banking if you are a local in the Greenfield area. The staff there are all very helpful and friendly. The only reason that I did not give it a 5 star rating is because of the overdraft "protection" that they offer. The $30.00 fee is a bit steep and if you're like me then you would prefer to just get declined if there aren't enough funds in your account rather than unknowingly spending $31.05 on that can of Coca-Cola. Free checking is also a plus. Would recommend to a friend. Or a stranger if they asked...

Lucian Copeland2Shockingly incompetent modern banking. Might be ok if you live close enough to walk to an office to deal with all the random crap they throw at you in person, but for anyone else this bank is a nightmare. Constant, random fraud lockdowns on your account, often for purchases as innocuous as buying groceries or paying rent, which can take days to resolve if they happen during a weekend as there's no way to reach them outside business hours or resolve it yourself online. Website is a mess, with erratic sessions that constantly reset and make even the most basic tasks a chore. Mobile banking entirely nonexistant. Constant resets of your credit card and PIN at the drop of a hat, makes you wonder how secure they actually are behind the scenes to have to switch stuff up so much. Long story short, if you need prompt, transparent, and competent service, AVOID THIS BANK! "Heart in the right place" only goes so far when you've got the technical skills of roadkill.
