Rebecca King1Very poor costumer service, I was talked to like a dog they accused me of breaking the law and lie after lie they told me. I was so upset after getting off the phone with them I had to lay down to get my blood pressure down thenI suffered a head ache all day. That office needs cleaning out from the top to the bottom. I have enough in my life to keep me upset if I let it but being caught off guard with such anger coming from him I all I could do is put my shields up and raise my sword. I know my credit is not the best due to illnesses over the years and I’ve been at the bottom before in my life but while at the bottom I’ve never suffered a migraine all day I don’t wish harm on anybody or anyone but there is this lady called karma I’ll let her be the judge of unprofessional people at Great State😡

Megan Stevens5Not sure what all the bad reviews are about either. I have been with Great State Finance for 4 yrs now and I have NEVER had a problem with them! Always very nice and are very understanding when going through hard times. Thank you Great State Finance for always being great!!

Stephanie Marie5I have been financed with Great State for 4 years now. I always pay every month and call and never have any issues talking to someone. I really think the people with bad reviews are calling the wrong number cause I have never had to leave a message. They always automatically send me a receipt to my address after each payment. I have no complaints and I’m sad that they are closing and I can’t refinance with them. Matter fact let me go call and see if that has changed cause this is a company I would stick with for many years to come.

taylor carrillo5I'm not sure why there are bad reviews. I have been financing with them for the past 3.5 years and I've never ever had a problem with them, they've always worked with me even on late payments or deferments, especially during the pandemic. Jose is so pleasant to speak to, enthusiastic and never in a rush to answer questions I have. The only problem I ever have that others have as well is the answering of the phones, but you have to realize it is a small finance company and you always have the option to leave a voicemail for them to call back. If not I just call back at a different time during the day... no big deal. 5/5 stars for sure. :)

Charn Meadows5I work with Jason and Jose mostly and they are always pleasant when I speak with them. I guess it depends on the individual because I have NEVER had an issue with them. I have had 2 cars financed through them. 1 car was totaled in a car wreck and once the insurance took care of their part, they helped me get into another car. I Love this finance company and wishes that I could recommend them to everyone.

Jessika Lewis4Never had too much of an issue , Jason is usually the only one I like to deal with and they have been helpful these last few months when times got a little hard but the only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because they don’t have an online payment option.

Michael Chavez1Working out of state and all they do is call if you're late. Since leaving out of state temporary, BTW, yes I did call to leave message that I took a contract job elsewhere for a short term, they harp and harp. I'm working and saving now just to get situated with a Toyota dealer in town when I return for cash and my trade just so I never have to deal with them. they will also lie and call you telling you your insurance is not current, even though it is, when its is passed the due date of the insurance payment. I've maintained insurance with one carrier the last year and a half and anytime your insurance is during the grace period after the payment due date IT IS STILL CURRENT. I had various representatives from this branch contact me stating it was not, even though it is. I obtained this information from my insurance. The reps at GSF will tell you it is not and refuse to take your payment. I have my deposits hit my account on different days so wanted to pay my car payment on the 1st of the month and my insurance a few days later, during the 10 day grace period, and the morons there would not accept it. Not sure how many brain cells it takes for them to do their job but apparently it isn't enough. Also had a representative named Jose call me stating, in a rude and demanding voice, that my vehicle was passed due. This was due to a change in jobs and of course you gotta wait for that check to hit which can take up to 2-3 weeks. I saved the voicemail and discussed the matter with the office manager who said I was lying even though I saved the voicemail of him calling me. So apparently when you have proof of a situation you're still lying. Looking forward to seeing automation create job losses for companies like them. Avoid them.

Change Theworld255**Update: It's now been a full year that I've been with this company and I still am in satisfied with them. I've been having a rough few months and they listen to my situation and try to help me find solutions so that I can stay in my vehicle. This finance company has been nothing but respectful and courteous. I called under the impression that I was going to be late on my payment however it turns out I am months ahead! They were happy to explain how this has happened but also informed me of what my options would be if ever I did need help. They have always been kind and helpful!

alex vazquez5I have financed my vehicle with this company for one year and honestly they are very understanding and will work with you. I couldn't make my payment on time and they managed to move my scheduled payment for my next paycheck. Also every time I speak with a representative they are very polite and want to help in any way they can!
