Peter Mohrmann5I've been educated about the various financial instruments BB&t offers by the kind and caring Laura. She worked persistently to fit me into bb&t while taking care to address all of my questions and concerns. Usually a bank will call their corporate office to get answers pertaining to corporate accounts but Ms. Cantu is unusually knowledgeable. So, I'm able to have a flowing conversation where I feel that I'm making an informed decision with my money. I love that I'm able to call the branch and have all my problems solved by my banker, Laura. Most banks will have you call in to an automated system to do a Pin reset. Garden variety bankers can set you up a credit card but cannot do any servicing on that credit card. But at bb&t you deal with one person who can solve seemingly everything including but not limited to debit card pin resets and credit card issues.

Tara1WORST BANK EVER! I got forced into this bank when they took over Citi Bank I guess... I don’t even know how or why that happened. Do NOT make any mistakes and let your account go into the negative AT ALL! That includes if companies or other people or hell anybody charges you anything! Even if it’s an accident(NOT your fault AT ALL) and a bill or any company charges you when their not supposed to. If your account goes into the negative because of this or ANY reason they charge you $36.00 for each transaction and then if your account is in the negative for 5 or more days they charge you another $36.00!!! They will ONLY “help” ONE time in 24MONTHS regardless who’s fault or what happened to your account. Nothing matters. You do NOT matter after you get one reimbursement with THIS “bank”! My situation.... My internet company charged me on a scheduled date I had previously set up. I called before the scheduled date and paid my bill. After I paid my bill I used the rest of the money to pay my rent. So I only had enough to pay my internet and rent bill. I paid a week before that scheduled date I had set up. Well........ The scheduled date rolls around and my Internet company charges me AGAIN. When I call my internet company she tells me I have to call and cancel the scheduled payment or the computer automatically charges regardless if I pay early or not. So, NOW I know this!!! Thanks for letting me know!!!!!!! But now I’m overdrawn in my bank because y’all charged me twice!!!!!! She put the money back in my bank but of OFCOURSE that took days to hit the bank. So, I call the bank and tell them what happened and they give me the $36 overdraft fee back. So my account is back to straight and good BUT THATS IT!!!!!!!! Little did I know...... If this or anything AT ALL happens again YOUR fault or NOT you will NOT be reimbursed! You only get ONE time! ONE REIMBURSEMENT PERIOD! Well, I transfer money to my account from my WELLSFARGO(the better bank) like I’ve done MANY TIMES in the past. And normally the money goes straight into my BBT account and that’s that. Within minutes! So I transfer the money Friday morning and have to take my baby to the doctor because he had an allergic reaction and so I rush him there and then have to go to HEB Pharmacy to pick up his epipen. Few days pass and I wake up and check my bank. The money is NOT there and I’m overdrawn everything I spent on going to the doc and pharmacy. So I call BBT and she tells me she doesn’t see a money transfer and if the money doesn’t get into the bank by tonight I’ll be charged overdraft fees!!!!! Well, that’s wonderful! That’s all the money I had. So it’s being transferred and I can’t do nothing about that. So the next morning I wake and I’m overdrawn almost $300 from what I spent. (I transferred $300) AND ALSO $108.00 for BB&Ts fees!!!! So, looking at my account I see the overdraft fees as well as MY $300 I transferred days ago! So they charged me their fees at the same time my transfer came in... I got on the phone with BB&T begging them to help cause I can’t afford an EXTRA $108.00!!!!! PLUS The H-E-B pharmacy was about to come out and that would have been ANOTHER $36.00 fee PLUS my account would of been charged more fees for being negative more then 5 days or whatever they said(which I had NO IDEA about until I got charged and they wouldn’t help me with those either! I had no idea I’d get charged for having my account in the negative. They make sure not to tell you these details)(BUT I got forced into this BS bank to begin with) so I didn’t know nothing! So I begged BB&T for days, I called and emailed. I called the Executive office and talked to someone there and they said NOPE NO HELP AT ALL PERIOD! Not one person helped me. So while calling BBT I was also talking to WellsFargo. In the end WELLSFARGO gave me $40.00 for some old ATM fees I had on that account. In the end, WELLSFARGO were the ONLY ones to help me with SOMETHING! ANYTHING! WellsFargo is so awesome!!!!! They’ve helped me so many times in the past especially if it’s not even my fault! BBT SUXS!

Melissa Anderson1Beware and very cautious when banking at this branch. Since the staff gets transferred around let me be more specific... I have a business account with BB&T I was looking at options for expanding. I made appointments with the "Market Leader" Carlos Acha to discuss options and what would be the best for me. I brought my taxes personal and corporate, with my current FICO scores. Unfortunately this is where my nightmare started. Carlos Acha is not knowledgeable on the products the bank offers nor is he familiar with the process. He is full of misinformation and will guide you down the wrong path while arrogantly smiling at you. I've waisted so much time and money dealing with him! He continously lied and attempted to fast talk his way out of it... Out of complete exhaustion and frustration I reached out to his superior Frankie Martinez. Hopefully Mr. Martinez can mitigate future damage to us the customers... Mr Acha remember with out customers you don't have a job. If you make a mistake own it, if you dont know the answer look into it. People will respect that way, now I disdain you. Do not attempt to contact me, your words hold no value.
