  I’m not one to ever take the time to sit down and write a review but after my horrible experience at this branch I couldn’t just let it go with out expressing my experience. The teller by the name of KAREN, no pun intended her name was actually Karen. Karen was extremely rude and was talking to me as if i was trying to commit fraud and talking down to me as if I didn’t have a cent to my name. I was depositing a personal check that I wrote from my own account, into a friends account who banks at golden one. I had a card with my friends name and account number for her reference so she knew what account to deposit the check into. I’m not a member with this bank and have done this in the past for family members and friends who bank here and have never had an issue with other tellers at this bank until today. She asked for my ID and was looking back and forth at my ID as if it wasn’t me. I haven’t gained weight or changed drastically since my ID was taken so this was extremely uncomfortable and off putting. She then takes my ID and my check and makes the deposit and after the transaction was finished she through my receipt at me and then followed to toss my ID back at me as well. I’m a local business owner myself and customer service is something I take very seriously so this experience was extremely frustrating and I will be sure the next time I’m at this bank I will not be dealing with Karen. Sorry I’m not white Karen, and that I don’t fit your narrative of what a person with money should look like. I’ll be sure to remember this experience when anyone asks me for references (which I do get) when it comes to banking and where they should bank.

  This bank is great!!! Not only friendly and fast service but you can have everything from savings to checking-all free- and your credit card with low APR . Some years ago I was approved for a car loan with the lowest interest rate.Defenitely gonna stick with that bank!!!

  Consistently kind, courteous, and efficient service from staff that seem to genuinely care about their clients. Working with the general public can be a very demanding and difficult task, but as a customer frequenting a financial institution with employees who hate their jobs is quite the headache. Not an issue here though; great customer service and a wide range of programs. Golden 1 can count on me to highly recommend them to everyone I hear looking for a credit union they can trust and be a part of for many years to come!

  The tellers are friendly with the exception of ONE woman named JODI. She's RUDE, unfriendly, does not greet her customers unless they are WHITE and she's an all around awful person. Maybe I'm too attractive and JODI was intimidated and insecure about herself that day so she acted unfriendly, but if I hadn't been in a HURRY and if there had been SOMEONE behind me in line, I would have let them go before me, but unfortunately, there wasn't. The 1 STAR is for JODI alone, but the other tellers have always been friendly and greeted me with friendly conversations. This JODI is the only exception and she should be FIRED for her negative attitude towards customers.

  Brian and Genie went above and beyond for me. I walked in needing a transfer from a different bank and they made it happen without a hassle!

  Not professional at all ! I’m pulling a certain amount of money and the staff lady tells me “ what for “ please talk to your staff members!!
