  I went in to pawn a laptop with them and they would not take it. The main reason was that the charger was not original and was made using parts from 2 other chargers. The employee stated that he could not take it since it was not professionally done. Well I take offense to this. I happen to be a retired Operations Specialist Senior Chief (E-8) and a couple of the things I was taught was how to splice and solder, and how to use shrink wrap. The charger looked like factory with only the orange head showing. So I take great offense to when he said it wasn't professionally done. I highly doubt that there is a school anywhere in the world that has the reputation that Navy "C" school has. And having been to China to watch the computers together there that I can say without reservation that the Chinese soldering the chargers together there do not have the experience or professionalism that a graduate of a Navy "C" school has. On top of that I own a computer repair company! How much more professional do you want? Other than that? I love the shop. They always have the best items around, with great staff.

As for your laptop, as a business owner yourself, you can appreciate the value of presentation and finishing work. While your repair may be Pentagon approved and thoroughly functional, the fact that we clearly recognized the cannibalization of the other chargers into yours didn't qualify to maintain that standard for remarketing where an applicable factory replacement would. In short Sailor, you passed the function check, but failed inspection.

  Always friendly and polite, been going here for like 7 or 8yrs, the only pawn shop I'll go too.. Love the workers.. always makes me smile or laugh when I'm in there, Always TRY to help you the best they can..

  Recently used them for a FFL transfer, everything went great and in my experience one of the best fees here in the area. I had a multiple item transfer for only $25, I have been charged full fee for each item at other places around here. They will be my “go to” FFL in future transfers, plus they’re just nice folks.

  Hands down best place to buy guns or do any pawning with. Very good prices, won’t beat you down on prices and Paul is hands down best gun dealer I’ve bought from. Knows everything he sells and stands behind it. great customer service and earns your business. Highly highly recommend.

  I bought a gold chain about a week ago and I went to go return it. A man with colored hair and glasses was helping me and he said he couldn’t give me a refund, he can only do a store credit or an exchange. On top of that he told me that I can either wait till christmas to buy something with my store credit or I can get something for myself. I don’t need any of that, I just want my money back. I don’t want another piece of jewelry I’m not going to use. Also here’s a tip, maybe you should include that information on the receipt or tell buyers about returns and exchanges before the purchase is complete. Which I was NOT informed on when making my perchase. Used to like going here, but now I change my mind and I’m not coming again.

  Actually it is on the receipt, and posted within the store. You asked how you could use the store credit and I did suggest perhaps buying something for yourself, or wait and use it for Christmas. I understand it was purchased as a gift, and we are more than happy to exchange it or issue the credit for later use, just revisit with your reciept and we can square you up.

  Gold Mine was used as FFL for local delivery of firearm purchased at Gunbroker (Sig Sauer P226 Legion) back in 2017. Quick and easy with reasonable fee. Plan to use again for future online firearm purchases.

  I first want to say that my intial experience with the staff here was good and they were very accommodating. I purchased a beautiful ring from them and had it sized. When I picked it up, it looked very yellow compared to my wedding bands. They are all white gold. I questioned it and I was told it is hard to get them all the same color, which I know is not true. I took the ring home and wore them for one day then decided I need my rings soldered together. I returned the next day to drop off my three rings for the jeweler. I called the following day to speak with the jeweler to make sure we were on the same page with what I wanted done. This repair was supposed to be simple. I picked the rings up when they were ready and had the shock of my life. The jeweler smashed them altogether into one ring, which I specifically said I did NOT want. The three rings are soldered together twisted and not even with each other. THEY LOOK TERRIBLE. This is by far the worst repair work I have ever seen in my 50 years on this earth. I have spent a significant amount of money on this ring and the repairs and am now facing spending $500.00 more at another jeweler to fix the mess that he made. I am heartbroken and feel that they should not be stating that this man is a “Master” jeweler. This is truly a lesson learned the hard way and you truly get what you pay for.

  This Pawn shop is a SCAM! I bought a necklace from them and it popped within a few days. I asked for a refund or an exchange and they wouldn’t do either . Never coming back

  We will happily refund or exchange any jewelry returned in the same condition it was purchased; even damaged if it were a defect in manufacturing. For other issues we do offer goldsmithing to repair the damage.
