  It has been impossible to get to speak with a human being. I have called three different numbers and spent over 30 minutes in automated limbo. The company arbitrarily purchased insurance on our property in April even though we had a fully paid insurance policy in place that does not expire until December. To add insult to injury, they purchased a policy for over 7k, when my policy only cost $3,300. They then applied my mortgage payments to this policy and are now showing me two month delinquent on a policy that is auto-paid every month. Their customer service is terrible and I would never recommend them. Buyer beware!!

  GMFS is wonderful company! I just wish SLS Corporation would take a hike and get lost. Please replace this ridiculous company!

  While the loan officer was pleasant and thorough, the company has been horrible to work with. They failed to pay taxes from our escrow account, which only after getting a delinquent notice and several phone calls to GMFS later, did they fix. Now they have had an internal security breach to their system that they refuse to acknowledge. We know this because of fraudulent activity on our account that we had to uncover. They do not respond to requests or attempts for contact from customer service, and they have been a nightmare. I would never do business with them again and I advise anyone to run from opening an account with this company. They headaches are not worth the .25% you might save on your mortgage.

  Wanda Trosclair was beyond wonderful!! This was our 1st home purchase and she was very helpful. This was a for sale by owner transaction with no realtors involved and Wanda was there to help make sure everything was taken care of. She was always a phone call/text/email away. Will definitely do more business with her and GMFS.

  I first met Wanda with GMFS Mortgage in April 2019. She was my Loan Officer when I bought my house in June 2019, which was a 30 year term. I decided to refinance my house into a 15 year term in January 2020. Wanda was so helpful and made the process of obtaining my mortgage in 2019 then my refinance in 2020. She was always available to answer questions, the process was stress free, she is very knowledgeable and she made my experience both times seamless. I highly recommend Wanda for all of your Mortgage needs. Thank you Wanda Trosclair for buying and refinance so easy!!! August 9, 2020 This is my second refinance with GMFS in Metairie with Wanda. I was already in a 15 year mortgage and interest rates fell further after several months. Wanda reached out to me and I did another refinance for an even lower interest rate. Wanda and GMFS made my first home buying experience so awesome, then refinanced twice with them. Wanda is so knowledgeable and made all three experiences run seamless!
