  Neglected to include income from a 1099-R that we’d submitted to her along with our other tax documents. As a result, we overpaid our federal income taxes and we're STILL waiting for the IRS to send us a refund.

  WARNING ⚠️ We used Gina for years. IRS audited our business expense. When I asked Gina for guidance she said , “there is nothing I can do. I submitted the information you gave me”. I gave her all my information she requested. I do not have CPA after my name. I paid her WELL for this service. So if you are a small business owner and are not up to date on all allowed deductions, do not trust this CPA!

  Do not get your taxes done here. They told me the fee for our taxes would be 175 and when the time to pay came they said the fee was 325. Obviously they did not tell us the whole story because people would take their business elsewhere if told that at the outset. Bad business practices here. H&R blocks fee was only 250. Also never owed taxes before but suddenly I get my taxes done at this small town local smokel place and somehow I end up owing a few hundred bucks? I can't stress it enough go to a reputable place. Avoid this place like leprosy.

  Mr. Owens, I would welcome the opportunity to sit down with you and discuss the outcome of your tax return. There are many reasons why someone may owe in one year and not in prior years. Please call my office if you would like for me to explain how your tax was determined. In regards to our fees, we charge a minimum of $175 for Form 1040 and each additional form has a charge associated with it. Therefore, when we quote a price, we let our clients know that our fees start at $175 and go up from there. We always prepare returns in a manner that is best for our clients and therefore, there may be additional forms required in order to present the information required by the IRS.
