  been with this bank for years. will rob you for not having enough money in your bank account and pretend they are not the problem- blaming other third parties for THEIR ach fees. this is not a community based credit union. go somewhere else. this has happened to me multiple times here. over 10 years i’ve been with them since i was 17 years old. took and paid off loans with them. awful service, not willing to help. i closed out my account and have NO intention of returning- if you need a credit union that isn’t run by clowns you can find app credit unions with no fees and genuinely have YOUR interest at heart.

  Seriously thinking about closing our account. I work 2nd shift and every time I try to look at my account online after midnight, it always says system unavailable. I've tried every single night this week and it's the same thing every night. This is unacceptable! I never have this problem with my other account at a different credit union.

  I've been a member for 10+ years, and have been vey happy as a member. Branch visits are generally a good experience but can be slow if they're busy. Tellers at this location are always pleasant and helpful. Fees are way lower than any bank, probably because it's a member owned credit union. When I need to call there's never more than a couple minute wait.

  I'm still gonna give them a 5 star rating because I've been banking with them for years. I will say however I'm switching to another credit union for my main banking after 25 years.

  It use to be a good credit union but the past year I have had so much issues with them . One of the big issues are the online banking !! Every month I get locked out of my account for NO REASON . The app is so slow it takes 5 minutes to load on my phone and I have a good phone and they have taking fees from me for no reason . I think I’m going to be switching banks it’s not worth the hassle

  When I open this account none of the information the young lady told me has been true. Just a big inconvenience . If I could give this credit union a minus 2 million I would. Here we are again with the same issues having my daughter account and my account crossed. The person looking into this was supposed to give me a call back two months ago still no resolution still the same issue. With a NSF fee

  I have been with this credit union for almost 20 years but there new online mobile app is terrible. and when it locks you out on the weekend, well you are waiting until Monday for help. I am now looking for a new credit union. Stop fixing what wasn't broken, because now it is broken.

  Because of Adele Stallworth’s politeness, caring concern I recommended that my son finance his vehicle thru Freestar. On December 16, 2020 he bought a car and Adele took care of all of his needs. The dealership didn’t process paperwork properly but Adele was able to remedy the situation. It was an all day process but Adele was there every step of the way. Even staying after work to make sure that everything was complete. Thank you again Adele!!!

  I came to free star financial looking to consolidate my debt into one payment per month coming in with very poor credit. I was given the ability to start fresh and free star did. Today my credit is between 710-750 I highly recommend to my friends and family or to anyone looking to rebuild.

  Save yourself time and money and join another credit union will give you the run around ,pass the buck, lie to you ,really good at losing your paperwork !! and will screw you over on a refinance. stay away
