  For the first time in 25 years we had to get a mortgage. I turned to Rebecca and her team for guidance. Getting a mortgage through Foote Capital was the easiest part of the home buying process.   Jennifer Richard at Foote Capital was by far the best lender we have ever worked with! She made the process so easy for us & guided us through every step. Jen truly cares about her clients and spent so much time answering our questions, and making sure we got the best rate possible. Even our settlement attorney was impressed with the rate she got us! I would highly recommend her!

  Working with Foote Capital Mortgage was a refreshing changed from what you get with some other mortgage companies. Rebecca was very professional and always available to answer questions.   I'm a realtor with Coldwell Banker and I recommend Foote Capital to all of my buyers. When it came time for me to buy my next home earlier this year, Foote Capital was the only natural choice. (Actually, this is the second time that we've used Foote Capital. They also helped us with a refinance years ago on our last house.) I work with lots of lenders on the daily and certainly had my choice of whom to work with on my purchase but because of Rebecca's communication, her hardworking team and their friendliness I was happy to quickly call Foote Capital. As I know all too well, lenders can make or break deals. I've never had a broken deal with Foote Capital. I'll continue to use them as I need their services (okay, but just how many homes can one person buy???) and continue to recommend them to my home buyers. If I'm 'The HOME Matchmaker' then Foote Capital is the officiant. They make it happen!

  To start I am a very critical person of myself and others in regards to professionalism and expectations to how I want to be treated as a customer and as a person. They had the best rates I could find and the reason I went with them was a recommendation from a coworker who did the same extensive search. The team there answered all my questions in a timely manner considering how very busy they are right now. We met the closing deadline in under 30 days. I am very happy with my interactions with them and that's a hard thing to say. Thank you for financing our first home!

  Rebecca and her team were so easy to work with, as a single first time home buyer I had a lot of questions. The team was always available to me for anything I needed and even sent me updates regularly. I worked closely with Ashleigh and Angela, they were both so kind and took a lot of stress out of the home buying process.   Great employees, it was a pleasure working with Sara and Jenn. Although this is normal, I'm alittle disappointed in the fact they sold our loan after only 5 days to a national chain. the company prides itself on being local and "your direct lender" i would had rather kept our money in the local economy but instead our loan was sold before we could even make our first payment. nice people, happy to work with them, but dont buy into the "keeping it local" mindset Edit in response, not once in the almost 6 months that we were in contact and working with Jenn at foote was it ever mentioned that foote would sell the mortgage immediately. It would have been nice to know, we would have just gone with a nation wide lender instead and skipped the middleman, great staff but dont try to tell us the company was upfront about it, if you were i wouldn't be here writing a review when it blindsided us when we got a notice in the mail that it was sold to the money source inc.

Yes, we do pride ourselves in being a local, direct lender, meaning our loans are underwritten, processed and closed by our own staff versus outsourcing these tasks to outside vendors. We are very upfront with all our clients about the fact that after closing our loans are sold to another servicer, which is very common in the mortgage industry and allows us to offer our clients the lowest possible rates. The most important part of getting a mortgage is the process from application through closing on the mortgage, so that is why we keep this process in-house.
