  As a first-time home buyer, I didn’t know exactly what to expect when getting my first mortgage. I had quite a few things in my credit that needed work and wasn’t sure if my dream of owning a home was even a possibility because of it. They really had their work cut out for them. Rebecca and her team guided me every step of the way to fix my credit, provided excellent customer service, and treated me like family. Foote Capital really went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations of customer service. They communicated wonderfully and made the entire process easy for me. I truly believe I wouldn’t be a homeowner right now if it wasn’t for them! When it comes to home mortgages, Rebecca and her team are the ONLY people I will ever need to know. I cannot recommend Foote Capital enough, they are THE BEST!

  I'm a realtor with Coldwell Banker and I recommend Rebecca Foote to all of my buyers. When it came time for me to buy my next home earlier this year, she was the only natural choice. (Actually, this is the second time that we've used her. She also helped us with a refinance years ago on our last house.) I work with lots of lenders on the daily and certainly had my choice of whom to work with on my purchase but because of Rebecca's communication, her hardworking team and their friendliness I was happy to quickly call her. As I know all too well, lenders can make or break deals. I've never had a broken deal with Team Rebecca. I'll continue to use her as I need her services (okay, but just how many homes can one person buy???) and continue to recommend her to my home buyers. If I'm 'The HOME Matchmaker' then Team Rebecca is the officiant. They make it happen!

  If you've thought about buying a house and weren't sure you were ready or where to start to get a mortgage/pre-approval, then I suggest you start at Foote Capital Mortgage. This team of amazing people walked us through this process recently, step by step, making our dream of home ownership a reality. The entire team was patient, kind and understanding. Rebecca Howell Foote is amazing at what she does. Getting a mortgage can be an intimidating process to go through - you basically lay your entire financial portfolio out for someone else to see, good, bad and ugly, but not once did her team make me feel embarrassed or confused. They kept in touch with me almost every day, letting me know what was next, what information was needed, where to obtain it and offering to help me in any way possible.   Georgie and I weren’t really looking for a house but when it came along, we already knew who we were going for in our mortgage company! What a great local company through my own little network! Leadership Cumberland connected me with Rebecca’s husband Shaun. Legendary Mr. Larry Foote, I’ve gotten the pleasure to meet with through my father. Rebecca and her team were the icing on the cupcake! They answered all of my questions (and there were a ton), made everything go smoothly, quick and easy to understand. We felt important throughout the entire transaction - even when it was late night (way after hours) decision-making time. We were educated with everything we needed to know (went to her first time homebuyer’s class and got a $250 credit!), we trusted and had so much confidence in their service. They went above and beyond their role as a mortgage company because we didn’t have a realtor either; exceeding expectations all around! It’s no wonder she won woman of the year!   I just wanted to take a moment to thank Team Rebecca for their free homebuyers seminar. My husband and I desperately want to buy a house, but understand closing costs, loans, insurances involved, etc. etc. SO much better now... I don't know how to really express the relief I feel now just by being informed. I know the information is available to us online, but to be able to sit and be spoon-fed information by a professional in the mortgage industry, and hear other people's experiences is invaluable. I will be telling everyone I can about this experience, and hope many of my friends will take advantage of this great opportunity. I realize that the little bit we have saved is not nearly enough to cover closing costs if that's what our closing would come to without sellers assistance, and yet now have a realistic figure we can aim for, a realistic budget we can develop, and then get actually go into the process of buying a house again in 6 months or so without the fear of the unknown hanging over our heads. I am very grateful that when we applied for a pre-approval on a mortgage we got paired with your team, and feel like we are in the best hands we could be in with our loan management.
