  Josh provided the BEST experience in buying a new home I could have asked for. I talked with a couple companies prior to deciding to use Flat Branch and I can say that Josh with FBHL was the most responsive and helpful. We had a unique situation for buying a home and he gave tons of information and tips on how we could make things work for our new home loan. In addition to that, Josh was great about communicating every step of the process, keeping us updated, and making the process flow seamlessly. FBHL provided great rates and excellent service. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and would look at using them again for future home purchases.

  Steve, Zach, Christina, and the rest of the team went above and beyond our expectations in helping us purchase our first home. From quickly getting our pre-approval and pre-qualification, to providing comparisons of homes we were considering, answering all of our questions along the way, and making the process as transparent and easy as possible, we couldn’t have asked for more. The communication was consistent. I never had to worry where we were in the process because I received phone calls, emails and notifications from the phone app to stay updated.   Jason is amazing and his team is great. Very professional and he took time out of his personal days to help us get our dream home.   Jason Etters and his staff were true professional. Jason talked me through every phase of the loan process and was always available for questions. If he did not answer my calls personally, he always returned my calls/or texts expeditiously. Even though I had many objects to over come, Jason was patient and always determined to get the answers we needed to keep the loan process moving. I received Jason's name as a referral and I too will also be happy to refer Jason and Flat Branch Home Loans.

  Six days before closing the Flat Branch company failed me. I was given a false sense of hope of getting a home while on leave from work due to covid(still receiving full pay). The lender I was working with had all of my paper work but failed to mention early in the process I needed a return to work letter or I could not get a home. Her sales manager claimed she did not know but I cannot believe she did not know that unless she missed that day in training. Its pretty black and white with lending offices so I can't believe she wasn't aware of that fact. Not to mention her lever of unprofessionalism as she text my realtor that I would not be getting a home but would not hold a conversation with him on the phone. Her sales manager was also very rude when trying to prove his point, over talking me and getting loud with me over the phone. I will not be recommending Flat Branch to anyone as I have also learned I am not the first person the lender has done this too.
