  Bruce and Tracy were really nice and worked with us to get a purchase within our budget. They were honest and voiced their concerns and still was able to work out a deal on a really nice car. Would shop with them again.

  They repo your car even if your payments are up to date, make sure you look up under the vehicle you purchase all of there vehicles are rusty because they come up from up North

  I wish that I could give this business no stars, but simply had to settle with giving one. I have not had a very positive interaction history with John, the compliance officer of this company. I came to them through a car dealership that I was attempting to purchase a 2002 VW Golf though back in 2013. The car seemed to be in working order, and John was happy enough to help me complete my paperwork and place a GPS on the vehicle. Within a month the vehicle stopped working, and that is when my relationship with them began to deteriorate... I informed the dealer that the car was not working properly and that I wanted to return the car. They informed me that they no longer owned the vehicle, that the finance company did, and that I would need to speak with them. When I called and spoke with John, He told me I was misinformed and to speak with the dealership. This runaround carried on for a few weeks, until finally the dealer agreed to "fix" the car. I continued to have issues with the vehicle, and due to financial hardship ended up filing for bankruptcy later that year. When I filed they (First Sun) claimed not to have received any notification of this and repossessed my car. I thought my car had been stolen! After calling the police and having neighbors tell me some guy walked up, got in and drove off, I was informed by the police that my car had been repossessed due to lack of payment. They returned the car two days later, after being contacted by my lawyer's office, however some of my then boyfriend's property, which was the trunk was missing... In August 2014 the transmission goes out on the vehicle, and I decided to modify my bankruptcy and have the car surrendered. It is July 2016. This car is still sitting here at my apartment complex. I spoke to my lawyer and they informed me that the finance company (First Sun) had abandoned interest in the vehicle as well. While I was relieved to no longer be making payments on this lemon of a car, I was disheartened and down right offended by the treatment I received at the hands of John. I have attempted calling and speaking with him on multiple occasions, and NONE of them have resulted in being (1) spoken to like a human being, or (2) resolved any issues. I have attempted to get back the actual key to the car (which was taken when the car was towed. with me being given the copy when the dealership decided to "fix" my car). I have called and asked when they would be coming to get the vehicle to which John openly rude, informing me that he (not the company) had abandoned interest in the vehicle and that it was "not worth it" for him (not the company) to come and get it. I asked him, since he had abandoned interest in the vehicle, and since it was no longer working, if he would be willing to send me the title to the car so that I could turn it over to the junk yard. He hostilely informed me, "No! I own that car and I'll always own that car! You want the title, then pay me the money you owe me!" I called in yet another attempt to reason with John yesterday. I simply wanted to know if he would be willing to either come get the vehicle, or give me the title so that I could have the vehicle removed. Again he was dismissive, rude, and hostile. I was informed that "It was not worth the $300 or so it would cost to come get the car when it is only worth $200." After reaching my breaking point with how I was being spoken to I asked why he was being so hostile and not even attempting to speak with me in a civil manner to which he replied me, "I don't need to be. You cost my company thousands of dollars! If I cost my company thousands of dollars I would be fired!" On the company's mission statement it says, "Our pledge is to provide the highest quality service with excellence and consistency. We strive to be ethical and honest in all business activities and treat everyone with integrity." That is nowhere near the experience that I have had. It is truly despicable to see that this is the way they treat their customers, and so I would advise you to just beware when dealing with them.

  Ms. Gill I am sorry you feel that you had a bad experience with my company. I am very limited on my defense of this review because of confidentiality concerns Imposed on lenders due to the Dodd Frank ACT. Which prohibits me from addressing these individual issue you have.   Car repossessed after 15 days late an was extorted to pay $1000 to get vehicle back from being one payment behind. They refused to help me retrieve my personal belongings. On most occasions to make payments, I experienced the receptionist to be very rude with phone customers. All this an just had three months left on loan.

  I too wish I could leave no stars, my family has financed Three vehicles through them, the prior two had been years ago. This vehicle was taken for a "late" payment of 45.00, we disagreed on. The new account manager is also a snake, coming from another competitor company and spreading PRIVATE information with this company. Had nothing to do with this vehicle either , or payments on the other company, we owe them nothing. It is a shame the management could not understand your pay date does not always fall on the exact date of the split payment date. WE WERE TALKING THREE DAYS PAST THE DUE DATE.......no grace period. We were also not told the vehicle was wrecked. Do not try to use the Dodd Frank Act as your cover either! ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! ***

  I have literally been waiting almost 3 years to write this and now that my car is officially paid off and I don't have any ties with these ungodly people, I would like to take the time to let everyone know that this company is complete garbage. I am an A1 cosumer. I have literally never been late on a payment in 3 years, never even asked but unfortunately I've had to have other conversations with these awful people who have made every encounter hell. Even now as I am sitting in my car in front of their crappy building writing this. I paid off my car (traded it in for a new one and new finance company) and they wouldn't cut me a full check for over payment. The nerve of them to try to pull a fast one 🙄. A few months ago before I traded my car in, I got in an accident. Had to have the car fixed and brought to the finance company so that they can inspect the car before they could endorse the check. Yeah that would have been fine BUT These people have absolutely no idea what they are doing. All they had to do was endorse the check and sign a new check for that amount over to the shop who fixed me car. Nooooo they refused. They literally gave me the hardest time ever. The shop literally had mercy on me because they saw the check and gave me my car back until I could give them the money from the car. Which took 2 days to figure out. Also, the people (except for Tracy) are disgustingly rude, and have the nerve to have a hint of arrogance in their voices. Please. Listen people, if I could give this place a negative infinity, that still wouldn't be enough. Don't do it to yourselves. They are money hungry, ignorant, unkind, arrogant, condescending people and you don't need that in your life. First Sun Financial. *thows up double middle fingers* peace of b*****s *drops mic*

  Wow 19 years in business and I have never had this type of review from a customer that we have done everything we said we would do for you in your time of need. We have had very little interaction with you because you have paid your account as agreed. When you and I had interaction a little over a month ago, I thought I answered your question honestly.   Some of the most crooks I have ever met ,I was late on a payment and my car was taken without consideration and basically screwed out of almost 2000$ not to mention I was financed a vehicle that was a pretty much lemon ,when I went to receive a lot of my belongings a lot wasn’t in there which were a lot of personal information and important stuff . I WOULD NOT ON GETTING A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS

  They will come after you after 14 years and their shady attorneys will garnish your wages even after you won an exemption...now I can't buy my child the bed he desperately needs because they took my entire tax return AFTER I proved Head of Household EXEMPTION! Wouldn't even give them one star but can't post without something
