  Dave Brown and his team at First Trust Mortgage was top notch. We had a house that was in a multi-offer situation on back in the Fall and the seller required a "commitment letter" along with the offer. This letter is different than a pre-approval letter and required Dave's team to meet with underwriters to go over our credit within 24 hours. Dave was able to make this happen and as a result, we were the only offer that had a commitment letter in the end. This resulted in the seller countering with us rather than other buyers. Although we did not ultimately get that house, I knew right then that Dave's team at First Trust were committed to us and would come through in tight situations. We ended up putting in another offer on a house in the spring which was accepted and Dave's team was able to make a 4 week close happen. They were able to lock a rate that was very competitive and made themselves available for all of our questions as we went through the process. At the end of our loan process, I felt that First Trust's commitment to client service was excellent and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy loan officer.
