Steven Tucker5I can't imagine how anyone has had problems with this CU. They have always gone above and beyond for my wife and me, starting with financing our truck 17 years ago, when nobody else would because we had avoided loans and credit cards when we were young. We now have business accounts (opened in minutes), and recently i became my mother's payee for social security, and they helped me open a fiduciary account, and get a separate debit account for mom to have her own card that didn't access her primary funds. Our only credit card is 1st tech, and it will stay that way. If we ever buy a house, it will be with 1st tech, because we know they don't sell off the mortgages they hold. We can't imagine ever having to contend with a bank again. Plus, the people working there are always friendly - because they don't hate their jobs, like bank tellers always do.

Theresa Boss1My account will not allow me to do mobile deposits, I have called and emailed twice with lame responses that they have emailed the back office to see how to fix the problem but have NEVER GOTTEN THE SITUATION RESOLVED. So much for 24-48 hr response and hep! I will be moving my banking as well as my moms since there obviously are not a very competent credit union. Sad really because the branch people are always nice and very helpful but for the rest of you unfortunately your worthless!

Elaine Snow1I have been trying for a week to get a copy of my bank statement . I was told on Tuesday they would send me a copy to my email, I am still waiting for this to happen. Service at my local branch is a five but at their main office it is a complete failure. We have been with this credit union since 1965, through many different owners. I am to the point I am ready to seek a more responsible institution.

kaizen era1They destroyed my credit. I took a loan and paid it back and yet still they are reporting that I am defaulting on a debt of 0.00 for nearly 4 years now. They said they had it fixed about 2 years ago but it is still showing up as an unpaid balance due.

Kimberley Murphy1I have been with this bank for 22 yrs. Last week I had an auto pay for my insurance company scheduled for Thursday. Thursday afternoon at 2:15 pm i got an email from Farmers thanking me for my payment. Friday afternoon i went to the First Tech Eugene branch and asked the drive thru teller to withdraw all my AVAILABLE funds. I am a busy single mom working 50+ hours a week. Last Friday i barely had enough time to take a lunch break to withdraw my rent money so i wasn't keeping track. Anyway the teller allowed me to withdraw pending funds as well so now I'm $134 overdrawn. They refuse to admit it was their mistake so now I'm screwed. No food for this week i guess. Thanks alot👍

justin smith1Literally the worst credit union on the planet. I was conned into opening an account by the bank staff to be a co signer for a loan we didn’t end up using because we found a better rate elsewhere. I shouldn’t have had to open an account just to find out what we qualify for. Now I’m stuck with an account I’ll never use and don’t what to close because it affects my credit. Thanks for nothing first tech.

Keiri Payne1If you get paid on a Friday don’t expect to actually be able to access your paycheck until the coming Tuesday. They can and will shut your card off without notice when they suspect fraud (even if thats not the case) they pretty much hold your own money hostage. Worst credit union ever.

Josh Yaspan2Branch in itself is ok. Some of the people are nice. The bank itself wont do half the things they say they will though. One such example is when I tried to open a business account. When I opened my personal account, I was told I could open a business account for my "day trading" company. They lied. The account was denied. They said they never approve these accounts in the first place. Similar to the situation that the MJ farms and dispensaries are dealing with. It isn't right that legally licensed businesses in the state of OR cant open a bank account. They should not deny accounts based on personal opinion. My big money will not stay in this bank.
