  At first I thought this was a great bank until I had to go inside to do my banking. I have had the worst experiences in the branch in Stroudsburg with the tellers always being so nosey. Then today really topped all the other bad experiences I’ve had. A teller held my check up to the light to make sure it wasn’t fake then wanted to know where I got it from! I’ve been at this bank for years and they slap a two day hold on my check because they think it’s fake. All because I am what I am.

  I'm actually shocked at the low rating of this bank. I have no issues with my account here. I only have a checking and savings though and I'm a very easy client (direct deposit, occasional in-person deposits, etc.) I never have any issues. I give 4 stars instead of 5 cause about 6 years ago I didn't have direct deposit set up with my job, Walmart, so I got my check in cashed at the money center. The money center gave me 200$ of counterfit bills. I felt like I was made a spectacle to all of the bank and they definitely were judging me even though I told them where it was from. The took my money and gave me no documentation of the confiscation. I get why they confiscate it but I need something in writting...also I'm a victim of counterfeiting, they could have been a little nicer. Anyways that was 6 years ago, it is what it is. But I do tell people that story all the time when I recommend them. I still recommend them but watch out for counterfits, they assume you made them lol

  Beware of using their credit cards they try to advertise in the mail! They are from Elan Financial Services, aka Cardmember Service, aka US Bank. Very bad credit card company. I had a credit balance, and they had no services to wire the money back to your account. Plus, their customer service is very poor and lacks any knowledge. I called the bank here and they couldn’t care less...

  Everyone is so nice and Personable only thing that I find I really do not favor is you have to see a teller for a withdrawal slip ...no other bank does that ..it doesn't make sense whatsoever but other than that, I like banking here.

There have been numerous issues with improper use of withdrawal tickets and funds being released to the wrong individuals.   Just moved to town. Wouldn't notarize a document because I didn't have an account there. Guess I'll open an account for me and my company somewhere else! Remember: everyone is a potential customer, looking for great service.
