First Hawaiian Bank Mililani Branch Reviews

Lindsey Itamoto5Mililani Branch had recently gone under construction + huge renovations. (It's now located in the old Jack in a Box spot) The new build out is beautiful and modern. I like this location over the old one as it's standing alone and feels easier to access (by car, foot, etc) I visit often in the afternoon and it seems busiest from 3-4pm. There are ATMs at the very front of the building , 2 tellers/desks and a few meeting rooms and separate areas for non teller related banking services. I recently started doing my banking with First Hawaiian Bank (member since 2021) and am very happy with the services.

David Baker1What the heck happened. I'm waiting OUTSIDE the building. I've never seen this happen, they have some bizzare kiosk on the middle of the branch with a couple other workers on the side. This is definitely not an upgrade, made a mistake using FHB as my local bank.

Liz Alarcio1I just went there this morning, didn’t know they moved to their new place in mililani, just across the street. The set up is not that cozy. There are 2 tellers and the line was forming. The lady in front of me asked the lady who’s directing customers, if those desks and workers on the side are Customer Service people (don’t think she needs the teller for her question), she was told no they’re not. So she went back on line. I had to walk out…there were about 5 people in front of me at 850 am. Some people have a more intricate question that just deposit or withdrawal, how will they handle that, I wonder. Time to switch bank?

Shaina Post1Everything about this bank is inconvenient. Online payments take days to clear, so I have up often go in person to pay. Direct check payment from USAA was los, had to go in person to pay. If I didn't go in person, I would have been charged a late payment fee. Setting up the online banking (they only recently even had an app), as well as getting my first bill for my car payment took insanely long, had to go in person multiple times to initiate my first payment. It should not be this hard to pay someone money on time. I'm moving off island soon and I imagine things are just going to get worst from here. Unfortunately I'm stuck with them until I pay off my car.

walter yamamoto5It's confusing in there this is the first bank that I entered that has no clue about customer service. It seems that there are either one teller or none I seen only two employees in there. American Savings is right next to them and I would believe that they have a better customer service then first hawaiian .

Dean Shivvers1New Bank manager that does wire transfers and notary is no good. She moved from haleiwa and does whatever she can to do as little as possible. Would not recommend this branch. Go somewhere else.

Joe G1The poorest customer service, the whole bank system are not there to help, they were established to irritate customers who they can get away

John Godwin4I just opened an account, and although the online banking could use some improvement it gets the basics done. I do wish it were easier to transfer money to and from other accounts.. They haven't charged me a dime for my checking account, and they don't try to complicate things where you have no idea if u will be withdrawn like other banks. Overall, I'm very pleased, no confusing jargon to get you to sign up for something you don't need.
