  It's pretty sad you have to complain to the CFPB to even get a hold of these degenerates. It only takes a phone call to verify the validity of a debt. They seem to have a practice of actively avoiding the phone.

  This company should be ashamed of themselves send collection letter which was disputed in writing and mailed certified. They send a second letter claiming false bill is still owed I told their employee Anita Garrett we dispute the false bill for service that did not work from the first day. She got upset because we refused to let First Collection services strong arm us into collecting a debt we feel we do not owe. This is a terrible company we feel who should be ashamed of trying to hurt good people. Now we are mailing a 2nd dispute letter mailed certified and we hope they will understand we feel this is not our debt.

  Just got a call looking for my dead stepfather. This man had the nerve to ask me not only the date my stepfather died, but wanted the number to the funeral home. Public records aHoles. I have a feeling if you searched public records you could find proof that he is dead.

  January 18, suddenly I found a letter in mailbox from this company saying "Final Notice" to collect $114. The power company in Nachitoches in Louisiana has reported my account to this company.. I paid the money in full, and asked to delete the account from my report they refused to do so. The incompetent power company in Louisiana send my final bill to NY instead of KY. My final address was given to them but they ignored it. I sent a compliant to BBB and explained that to them, but they lied and claim that they sent several letter. They did not sent any letter but a final notice, demanding full payment. The irony is that I paid the money in full but they have the evil intent to report my account a month after they receive the payment to the credit companies. Furthermore they refused to adjust and delete the report from my credit after they know the truth via BBB. Our govement should shut down these type of shady business that pery on people even after they know the truth.

  I was an employee here ans this job was THE WORST! They have no sympathy for their employees. This is a local family business so there IS no room for advancement! The supervisors are full of ALL TYPES of BS and the employees are really RIGHT BEHIND THEM. Ive heard people work there for years WITH NO PAY RAISE. The best thing aboit the job was the insurance benefits. Best i ever had. Which is THE ONLY reason why i gave these people 2 stars. Hope your account is never sent here.....theyll harass you until you make a payment!

  called to help my friend pay her debt off that she was unaware about, we only found out 1-2 weeks after it was sent to collections, called to explain the situation and pay the debt IN FULL, in exchange for a letter saying they would be willing to remove it if it's paid, especially seeing as we had no prior knowledge of the debt even existing, they were unwilling to do that, so we're now unwilling to pay the debt, good job First Collection "Servs". Not sure why any company would want to hire a collection agency that can't spell services right, or is unwilling to write a letter in exchange for having an account paid IN FULL within its first month being reported. I'm sure your clients appreciate that.

  To all that read this. There is no Federal, State, County, City laws that says that you have to pay any money to a collection company. There is know laws what so ever. Send them a cease and desist letter by certified mail ($5.00) and they can not contact you any more. If they do you can sue them.

  If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Just received a call form a woman trying to strong arm me for my credit card information. Seemed unreliable so I called the place I was having the collection issue with and was told that my amount due was a fifth of what First Collection Services told me AND THEY DONT EVEN WORK WITH FIRST COLLECTION SEVICES TO BEGIN WITH. This company couldn't be any more fraudulent. The woman also referred to me as "hunny" and I almost hung up right there.

  They made a mistake calling me. I understood that however when I asked the first agent about what business or organization they were calling from they did not give me a direct reply to that question and requested that I disregard and hung up immediately. The second agent was not like a professional when it comes to communication. I noticed how the second agent would talk over me while I was trying to say I was concerned and wanted to clarify which service was calling me . Some things need to be done right the first time.

  They are just trying to do there jobs. We are the ones that failed to pay our bill to begin with. I was making my payment and they have done what they can to turn my scores into credit bureau to fix it again. This all being to due to my negligence.
