  Great credit union. The people are very friendly and helpful. I liked the proximity and convenience of the former Palmdale and Lancaster locations, but I'm adjusting to this new location that merged both. I like that it's larger and parking is much easier here. I've been a member of First City Credit Union for over 45 years, and over the years it's only gotten better. Thanks for the great service.

  I over drew my account for 2.00 they closed my account.I went back in and fixed my account manager told me that she can't give me a card with Visa logo, but she can give me a card only for atm until 90 days. I waited 4 months to go back for a regular card; only to be told I don't make enough transactions to receive a regular card with Visa logo. So come to find out that it was up to the manager to give me one, but who are you to tell me I don't make enough transactions. As long as I don't over draft again. So basically she wasted my time and didn't expect me to come back in. I believe every one gets a second chance but as for my self I'm not intitaled to one just wrong. Poor customer service and ways.

After careful consideration, your debit card request was declined based on factors that were reviewed across your entire account history. We would be happy to discuss the details with you in private and make you aware of any means by which you can improve your account access. However, you can still continue to use an ATM card to access your account at any time. Again, we are sorry for any inconveniences, and we hope to better serve your needs in the future.   The WORST bank. Every time you have to call you have to wait on hold for like 15 minutes. Not to mention the outrageous overdraft fees. And the people on the phone say "well you need to keep track of your pending charges." Well you shouldn't take a week to report and finalize pending charges on my account! And some pending charges dont even show up! How am I supposed to keep track when their app is so unreliable? I shouldnt have to rely on hoping my math is correct down to the penny. I'll be shutting down my account as soon as possible and I wont be back.

  If you live in Antelope Valley do not send payments to Los Angeles office. It takes them 25 to 29 days from the time you drop your payment in the mail til they get it processed You will get letters telling you that you are 11 to 21 days late. I sent payment 14 days before it was due and got a letter telling me I was 11 days late. Sent payment 6 days before due and got letter saying 21 days late. When I called them they said it was processed the day before I called.
