  John helped me lock in a good interest rate when they started going up recently. Eventhough I have an excellent credit score, other lenders were offerings rates close to .5% higher. Throughout the escrow process he was there to answer any questions. I highly recommend John Smyth at First California Funding.

  I reached out to the President, John Smyth, to refinance my VA loan and he was initially very helpful. He sent me the forms to fill out in order to rate lock, and asked that i get them back to him that evening (which i did). Fast forward one month and he has not answered any of my emails or calls. I have been polite and professional in all my correspondence and wish he could return the same professional courtesy to me. I am baffled, not even a word of response.

  I can't recommend Todd DiLoreto and First California Funding enough. We had a rather difficult home loan and his service was fantastic. He knew exactly what needed to be done to get this loan through. He answered all our questions and would always give us a call back right away when we left messages. Amazing Service!

  This company uses robo calls to relentlessly call from unknown blocked numbers. They leave a message to call their representative, but do not leave the correct NMLS number, violating do not call list legal requirements. If they call you, join the masses filling claims against them, and save the voice mail messages because each violation carries a $10,000 penalty. Soon, I'll pay off my mortgage using penalties this company is accruing by allowing auto dialers to call me all hours of the day, or night.
