  We thought the only way to financial freedom was to sacrifice everything enjoyable in life for 10 years. No coffee with friends, no gifts to others, only free date nights... We were following the wrong advice! On top of the stress of debt, we were trying to juggle multiple lenders and payments and with a child with special needs, couldn't seem to get our heads above the medical debt. By firing our mortgage, we not only get to enjoy the fruits of our labor, but get to take our first debt-free vacation this year, have increased our giving, and had a stress-free holiday season for the first time on our 14 years of marriage.   I have seen people run themselves into the ground with debt, meanwhile they allow income of half a million dollars or more to slip through their hands because they don't know how to manage their money.   Our mortgage is fully paid off thanks to the financial advice of James Murphy and Harvest Financial. If you are looking to eliminate debt and eliminate your mortgage talk with James about the plan that is right for you. We went from 120 months of payments to 16 months.
