Richard Standke1Even though I paid 20% down, at the last minute they demanded a 2nd on another property I own. They took almost 3 months to approve the loan so I was trapped. Of course, now they require flood insurance. When the first bank didn't take it out on time, but did later. Rather than wait an additional 2 weeks of a 4 week waiting period they charged my escrow account $7,861 for their own policy. They even insured the 3 months that had passed! They don't care when they can steal the money.
