      I just left here a few minutes ago (2/26/22) 10am ish and I haven't wrote a review in awhile but this I felt needs to be addressed. I am from out of town and just needed to find a bank to exchange $120 in 20s to 120 in 10s. And I was rudely told no and turned away when she asked, "do I have an account?" and I said "no politely". [Which I do not have a checking account, but I do have a car loan thru 5/3 Bank.] Also I didn't explain to her the reason I needed the change and truthfully was turned away so swiftly I couldn't have, and I shouldn't have to explain why I am coming to a bank to get change. But the reason I needed the twelve tens was for a dozen envelopes with care packages I'm handing out today for people struggling this winter and without money and a place to live. I really hope this 5/3 isn't a reflection of the company as a whole. Which I don't believe it is, because I'm pretty sure I've went to other 5/3 banks and had no problem doing something similar.

      Most of the Ladies there are very rude and have poor customer service skills. Even the Manager Ali. She doesn't even speak back when spoken to. I'm starting to think it's the color of my beautiful black skin that she don't like. The only two people there I have had a pleasant visit with was Shiloh and Zack. Thanks guy's but I am glad I no longer have to visit this branch.

      I am a senior and do not drive, so I count on being able to call the bank if i have a problem, but no one ever answers the phone. I have never had this happen anywhere else. Please answer your phone and do not tell me to bank online.

      last week I came into your bank to make a deposit and to get some change. I was told that your bank needed to make a copy of my ID in order for me to receive change. I was making an $8000 deposit and I needed $150 in singles. So I can deposit that kind of an amount without showing my ID, but I can't get $150 in singles without you making a copy of my ID? Being that I have experienced ID theft (and it was a nightmare!) I am very hesitant to give my ID out for copy. I have been making deposits at 5th 3rd for 15 years almost daily and I have NEVER been asked to give my ID for small change like that. Is THIS procedure a 5th 3rd rule or a Portage 5th 3rd rule?

      The bank put an additional $200 in my account and I told them it was a mistake and they said no it was not a mistake so the only explanation is they cashed my check twice and still trying to explain to them that they made a mistake and yet again they said no and that my bank account was 100% perfectly fine until today i find that my account is now -218 trying to get my wedding stuff in order by june 5th my wedding day now i have never let my account go neg. in all the years i have banked with them now if they looked more carefully to the information I had told them that money would not have been touched I have well had a clean record and I tend to keep it that way now mind you I did try to explain that there was something wrong with my account and they continued to state that there was 100% nothing wrong now the next day I have -$257 in my account had the audacity to say it’s not like we charge overdraft fees that is not the point the point is you basically came into my clean house and destroyed it you came into my bank account which was clean no negatives and then you just destroyed everything that I worked hard to keep and come to find out the bank does have a history of employees stealing literally one of the worst banks to ever bank with I currently have an account with this bank and they will not fix their mistake that they have made I had my fiancé speak with them on my behalf and they were rude and inconsiderate. then continued to state that I was the one to blame for this situation when the teller stated otherwise The manager stated that he is not capable of fixing the issue and from our understanding it is sounding That the tellers are incompetent and management is not capable of doing their job properly with that stated coming next payday I will be switching banks. their app sucks can never get in and cant send emails on time about whats in my account done with this bank i cant trust my money here anymore

      I Been a banking with 5th3rd for years and noticed a charge on my account. Turns out they started billing last year yLfor using atms that isnt theirs. My job makes me travel all over and i tefuse to pay 2 fees, 1 of them being from where i bank just to get cash. 5th3rd just lost another customer you greedy punks.

      This is time number two, I use the ATM outside to deposit money from work and it doesn't work. The first time I went to deposit 300 dollars it doesn't take the money but it takes my card and I have to go into the bank the next day to get my card back. The second time was this last Saturday and the ATM took my money $490.00 and said they are having technical issues at the moment, it prints out a receipt and of course says see a banker but the bank is closed on Sunday so I have to wait till Monday which is today Dec. 24, 2018 I go into the bank and the banker says that the 490 dollars is exactly what they were over, so I am thinking you are going to give me my money back and I can just deposit it with the teller inside the branch but nope I need me to call a number to dispute the problem when you have my money and that wasn't my error but your ATM error and now I have to wait four to five days to get my money back when the error is yours fifth third bank because the ATM outside is not working properly and hasn't been fixed yet? I was told the first time that the ATM doesn't usually do this and within two months of that it happens again and I the customer has to wait and wait this is nonsense and I don't bank at a bank just because and I should be treated better then having to go home to call a number to dispute something that was not my fault at all and if it was my fault I'd take it in stride but ATM Bank issue should not be put on a customers back and that's fact.

      Had to get new debit card so they gave e me a access 360 card,on a Wednesday, on Thursday I called to activate ,still didnt work ,went in the bank after 49 minutes of the representative on phone finally she said it was working,well it isnt ,have a florida trip planned for 26th cant get a dime of my money ,i told representative I needed to pay airlines to make sure it was available well lost slot of money I'm very upset weekend cant use card no one to help,uughhhhhh,so done
