  I read other reviews from a few years ago and I agree that the staff and service at the Mt. Pleasant branch was dreadfully bad. Fifth Third offered a cheap business bank account and decided to try. Over the past year or two, I have had great service from friendly tellers to great bankers. I have accounts at 3 banks. So far, Fifth Third has done very well!

  Everyone that I’ve met so far has been so nice and helpful. I enjoy this bank more than the other one that I had. They answered very question I’ve had with ease and kindness. I love this bank!

  Only one person working wait is absurd! I bank with Isabella Bank and never wait. I feel bad for the one person working because people are rude because they have to wait.

  If you live in the area, go with a local bank instead of Fifth Third. I have accounts at four other banks in town and always have a better experience at the other banks. Staff at the counter aren't bad, but lines can get very long and it seems they've been under-staffed for years. The mortgage department is terrible, but that was a great incentive to pay our mortgage off early!

  I had an appointment, over the phone and I called multiple times with international minuets and no one answered!!! (FYI, I called during their normal business hours, during EST)I am not in Michigan at this time to officially be in person at the bank, so what's the point of phone appointments if no one answers? Terrible service, never use this bank or location.

  They weren't bad for a while. Then they randomly started delaying checks. After a couple late payments and no satifactory reason why, I moved my money to a credit union. They didn't seem surprised.

  Fifth third isn’t a bad bank. It isn’t my favorite but it isn’t the worst either. I do have to say the mt pleasant branch has been by far the worst experience.

  Although the counter staff is great, the "bankers" are rude and condescending. With so many choices in the area, find another bank!
