Expedient Mortgage Reviews

Jennifer Mata2I, like another person on here within the last 5 months don’t normally get on the internet to Leave a bad review unless it’s for a good reason. I strongly advise working with another lending company. Yes, me and my husband were able to lock in a rate before the hikes and are now in our home but that’s not to say we had a lot of stumbling blocks. Usually I hear peoples experiences are smooth, if not maybe bumpy but it felt like we were on a roller coaster. There were too many people handling our account I guess you could say. I understand underwriting wanted a lot of info, however they kept asking for my husbands stubs and pay even though he has been at the same job for the past year and a half and doesn’t ever take PTO or have a rate change. I thought this was odd. When I gave him $ for the closing costs we were told we were moving too much money around which I don’t see how because it’s not like we could just go to closing day with cash in hand. My husband was upset to say the least when the processor was again asking for something and wanted my husbands username and password for an account he had his stock in the prove he took money out. It seemed like they dropped the ball and there was no communication which is why we had to resend items. I had specifically asked if they needed anything on my days off as I work a 12 hour shift and don’t have a laptop with me. It seemed like he literally only asked for items and wanted them when I was at work. His responses were “not getting these items could hold up closing” which they had already delayed a week. Just save yourself the hassle and do your research

Yuliana Pulido1I rarely leave a bad review but working with Richard and Expedient mortgage as a whole was such a terrible experience. There was mistake after mistake on all paperwork that was sent to me and when I told Richard to get it fixed they said they will take care of it and to sign anyway as it needed to get signed. I have bought a home in the past with a different company and it was seamless. I don’t remember a single issue. With Expedient the day of closing was the worst experience. I couldn’t believe the way I was being treated. I did not feel appreciated nor like anyone in the company cared other than my realator. To begin, they never fixed the issues on the paper work they said they would fix. That caused my closing cost to be over 1,600 than what I was suppose to pay. What if I really didn’t have the money? I would have been homeless because of an issue that could have been prevented months before if only the job could have gotten done. The paper work was never sent to the title company. I was scheduled to close at 10 and didn’t close until 3pm. I spend all day there waiting until the paperwork can get submitted to the title company. All this to say that not once did Richard take any ownership about his mistakes. Not once did he apologize either. All he did was point the finger and say someone dropped the ball because of the holidays. What upset me the most was the fact that my builder offered me 4,000 in credit to use there mortgage company and Richard said he would match it. I only chose Expedient because my realator recomended them and she trusted that everything would go smoothly. Only to find out on closing day that they would not grant there promise to me. I had docs that I had already signed that stated that credit. On the day of Richard said “He was doing me a favor by giving me a 4,000 credit”. Which I did not get in full. His response to my situation as a client was absurd and unacceptable. If I would have known that this was going to be my experience with Expedient I would have never gone through this company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EXPEDIENT MORTGAGE.

Preslie Bednarz5Mike Puente with Expedient Mortgage is amazing! As first time home buyers, we did not know what we were doing. Mike answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly, and made everything so much easier to understand. He was kind and great to work with. He has helped other people I know as well, and everyone always speaks so highly of him. Glad we got to work with him!

Lauren Castillo5Me and my husband moved into our apartment in 2017 and we made a goal that by the time out lease was up we would have a house. 6 months into it i felt like it wasnt going to happen, but once i got in contact with Bianca she made things happen. Yes we had hiccups in the road but we were able to get our home.
