  Excellent pawn shop! Best place around to buy jewelry as well. They also work with an excellent jeweler for sizing and customization needs. I bought my husband a gold nugget charm years ago. I took it there and the jeweler mounted 2 diamonds into the charm. Just the way I pictured it! Thank you so much and I will be a customer for life!

  2 times in last month I stopped in. First time walked out after looking at $1500 worth of electronics because I was being treated rudely by employee. 2nd time was today where I was asked to put a mask on. So I did with no complaint from me. Same Employee made rude remarks towards me after I complied. I left without looking at the $600 of purchases I was about to make. Rude service costs money. Do NOT shop hear and reward stores for allowing rude employees. You pay their salaries. They need to realize this.

  We actually have very nice employees. The employee was so confused when you left. He wanted to start a conversation with you by saying "not so bad is it?" after you put your mask on and thought the two of you would begin talking from there. The whole mask thing has become such a touchy subject. In retrospect, what he said actually sounded very rude and not a good way to start a conversation. The employees now know to not have any further conversations about masks beyond offering free masks to customers. We hope you will give us another chance and promise you a deep discount if you come back. Please accept our apologies.

  I have dealt with these guys several times and they are very professional and more importantly, very flexible. I went through a pretty rough time and was unable to make a payment one month. I called and they were very understanding and allowed me the extra time to get my payment into them. They understood how important my ring is to me and were very willing to work with me. Most pawn shops have zero leniency but these guys are awesome! They are laid back and fun to interact with. They also give very fair prices for pawn or loan items. I strongly recommend these guys for anyone that may be looking for some quick cash for a few weeks or are looking to clear out some old items. You won't be sorry. Thank you guys for your excellent customer service!!!

  Let first start this by saying if you're in a jam or strapped for cash, Essex Pawn is by far the BEST shop in the area to do business with. The staff members are incredibly helpful, professional, and honest. They also have an excellent assortment of goods at great prices. They've made a customer for life here. Keep up the great work guys.

  This Is my favorite pawn shop in the state of Maryland the owner is very friendly and a ladies man with all the older women. And the two other guys they are so sweet and caring and always smiling. They always help me when I need it most I feel like they have become friends more then workers to me and that is what we need more of in this 🌎 they do not take older items but if you build credit with them they might work with you so don’t worry! But please stop in and say hi to them And they will welcome you with open arms!!! Check out the jewelry as they have the best

I've bought from and sold to them and have had great experiences either way. They always give me a fair deal. Also, they have a great layaway program that I've taken advantage on several occasions.

  My boyfriend and I have been coming to this pawn shop for many years. He has bought many tools here, we recently bought a Wii U here, and just got my wedding set here, as well. They are very knowledgeable, and always friendly. They are willing to negotiate pricing which is always a plus. I absolutely LOVE this pawn shop. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Essex Pawn always has great inventory of jewelry, no matter what you are looking for & they stand behind your purchase 100 percent The owner & staff are friendly & will never steer you wrong.   Probably the most dumbest stores I've called 120$ for a ps4 pro HA yea I have a better chance selling it to a homeless person .
