Richard Peterson1Financed a vehicle with this agency a little over a year ago, was a terrible interest rate; but I was in a situation where I had to take what I could get. I've had a chance to refinance that vehicle (if you have a current loan here I recommend the same course of action), much better interest rate, I can actually make online payments instead of in person or with a fee. The account was paid off on the 10th, today is the 28th, I hadn't received the over payment check from them so I gave them a call (it was supposed to be said and done within 10days). First they lie to me, saying it had been mailed on the 21st, then they decide to tell the "truth"; that department was out with covid and just got back. I ask how that is my responsibility and ask why I am the one paying the price for it, to which I get a snarky reply. Understand that YOU the lender are a business, if you have a department out with covid, the job still needs to get done. You shouldn't give your customers attitude because of YOUR short comings. I sincerely hope bankruptcy befalls this company and their employees learn manners and reintegrate with society someday. Glad I'm no longer doing business with this company and highly recommend not doing business with them to begin with. Take a loan here, only if it is the absolute last resort.

Henry Caves1My girl paid 3 years 450.00 plus 350 insurance and one month she lost her job and missed one payment. Econolend offered to put it in a garage one week which we thought was super. Than stacy called saying it needed to be picked up for repo?! Talk about big rip off and working with us.

Mariah Bliss1I swear the Hispanic lady I spoke with today. Was asking too personal of questions. Instead of giving me assistance she acted like I was her child. She started to question my financial decisions. I was trying to get her off the phone but she keep nagging and ask why and I am sorry. Lady when you see this fyi you should look for a new job. I would rate u no stars if I could.

I have them deduct the payment every month from my bank account and it's that simple. Thank you to all the staff at Econolend for all your help and transparency.

Caity Binner1This is the absolute WORST company to go through. I promise you are better off going through someone else for financing. Not only are they absolutely rude and have no customer service what so ever, but they lie to you. Their paperwork says they have a grace period before you get a late fee, however they claim in person that they don’t, even when showing the fine print. They don’t work with people, and considering so many people suffered during this pandemic, you’d think they were trying to help their customers. Nope. The people that work for the company is just as bad. This is the grimiest place I’ve ever dealt with. They should be rated a 0 but you have to atleast give one star. Listen to these reviews. Let’s put this god awful company out of business!

Marissa Gomez1I’ve been with econolend for over a year. At first no problems, but after you have been with them for a month they are rude, unprofessional and make you feel like you are annoying. They will call you before ur payment is due to ask to make a payment when it’s not even ur due date. They are pushy and rude. I had to pay for gap and come to find out gap isn’t them it’s a whole other company, they also said gap might not even cover the vehicle. Then why did I have to buy it? 800$ of gap and they can’t even pay a small amount. RUN away from this place do not use.

Angelyca Reed1These people are harassing and rude. This is the only place I pay money to that has to know where money is coming from before an extension is processed. We are in a pandemic right now and many people are going through really tough situations and other companies have been really understanding and sympathetic. Not this one! If you have the possibility of getting your car loan somewhere else, always choose the other option! Anna needs to be replaced. Client relations is not her strong suit.

John Fiske1Bought a truck from a small dealership. Didn't know they financed through econolend. Crazy interest rates on a loan I could never get refinanced. Customer service is the absolute worst. Never again. Run, run far away from these snakes.

Jessika Perez1Not even worth a star due to ONE of their employees. Looks like its not the first about this person. However, I called in due to unable to make my car payment within the 10-days they allow us before the late fee hits. I had to explain to Stacy who was rude and inconsiderate of my situation. I explained I couldn't make the payment until my next payday which was two week from today. And she asked "where did my paycheck go to ?" Like are you even able to ask that ? Telling me that no she isn't rude I just don't like to hear what "they" have to ask. When and if I am late on my rent I am never questioned about "why and what did I do with my last payment." Even explaining WHAT happened to my car and WHAT was wrong with it that I had to pay for this person tells me "Honestly your reason for not paying is not an excuse." Then BY ALL MEANS WOMAN HELP ME PAY MY CAR. I have other necessities and kids I have to take care of and work my ONE paycheck around. Obviously I am not the only one that thinks this way and management should surely recognize this and have a sit down. As a customer service job we are entitled to be empathetic and approachable. Calling for the car and getting this lady on the phone is dreadful.

Shawn Kristoff1I am no longer a client of this company...... Worst customer service ever. Had a GPS locator put in my car, that was buzzing everyday, even when car was paid on time. No flexibility for hardship. Hardships are only outlined to what they deem is a hardship. Get into a credit union if you are able to, before these guys. I feel like they are rude, thinking that their the only ones that would finance you and are stuck with them.... Get out of the crazy interest company while you can!
