DuTrac Community Credit Union Reviews

brian lowe3This review is specifically for the Walmart branch which is not listed on Google Maps. Although I frequent this place and would normally have a good review, today was not a good experience. My niece just got her first paycheck and I was trying to help her by cashing her check endorsed to me. The bank refused to do it. Despite having my account they wanted her ID and said no faster than she could provide one. Then they advised me to go to Dupaco. So there you have it. I've had an account here for 38 years. They know me by my first name. I just don't get it.

Drake Taylor5I have had my auto loan through DuTrac for three years. Recently my car was hit and deemed a total loss. Kim and Nicole the loan officers could not have been anymore helpful. My experience with them was second to none! I would recommend this financial institution to anyone anywhere.

Carolyn “Suzie” Busko2I'm sorry but I agree with all the bad reviews. I too thought I could borrow $3000 for a car. No I didn't have much in my savings but have a very good credit rating and they denied it. I stopped putting money in my account and went to my bank DB&T. They were glad to help me. I'll be closing this account.

Katie Houser (KitKat86)1I agree with all the negative reviews here. They shouldn't be called a credit union. They do not care about their members and do not "work" with you as they say they will. Every worker I've spoken with that works there are rude, snooty, and treat me like a piece of garbage. My husband and I make alot of $ and have multiple deposits every month going into our account. Our credit is not horrible as we have worked very hard at improving it over the past several years. Still cannot get approved for a vehicle loan. Ridiculous. Looking for a new credit union. Heard multiple good things about dupaco. Plan on going there for all my "banking" needs.

Hannah Rupp1I have had my car loan with them for a year now. When I opened my loan I also wanted to consolidate unsecured loans but at that time they wouldn't since they hadn't established a relationship with me and my score was low. They said wait six months. Understandable. Six months later, was told the same thing, Now, my score is up over 100 points, paid off collections, and never missed a car payment and make more money. Still won't do it because of credit cards I have that don't even have a balance on them. If it wasn't for the low rate on my loan I would move everything away you guys. You lie and use a bad credit pull system. Doesn't make sense that one lender that pulls me almost 75 points higher even though they are both Transunion. Don't tell people you will work with them if you really don't plan on it. You should be ashamed to call yourselves a Credit Union.

Derek Bussan1I was visiting the area and needed to break two 50's into smaller bills. There was an older teller at the front desk, if I would have to guess I would say he was in his mid 60's and refused to do this. He informed me that I needed to be a member of the credit union to break larger bills into smaller bills. In all honesty most grocery stores, and gas stations will perform this action for you. This is the first time this has happened to me at a credit union/bank. I can only say that I experienced very poor customer service.

Brandon Maury2Unfortunately I have to echo the others here who found this establishment out of touch. I have not seen an attitude of service or consumer empowerment. Their credit system does also seem flawed/biased as others have voiced. A 738 elsewhere equals a 703 here. Formerly impressive Visa card program is now a MC with a higher rate. They’re still technically a credit union and they are FDIC, so a 1 Star is not accurate from my view, but a solid 2.

Scott Coyle1Was hung up on after finding out this bank believes the term Live means they can screw you when their is an error with your account. No other bank that I have heard of gives you an over draft fee the same day as a posted charge without giving you til the end of business to resolve the issue. Don't go to DuTrac as they are the worst kind of BANK, stop claiming to be a credit union as you really don't care about your members.
