  There are two parts to this review: 1. A review of the actual work performed. 2. A review of the people involved and the manner in which the work was performed. As for the work performed, it was done expeditiously and accurately. The work performed ended up saving me tens of thousands of dollars. In short, they do five star work. As for the people involved, both Tyson Pruett and Sarah Goode were attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. Even though my work covered multiple years of returns and required an extensive knowledge of tax rules and laws... they approached every one of my phone calls or emails with a helpful attitude and stellar work. I call myself an "incurable entrepreneur" and as such I know that managing the details of tax and accounting formalities is not in my wheel house. If you are like me, and need competent, trustworthy assistance with all aspects of accounting... I energetically recommend Doty Pruett. If you are not like me and know the ins and outs of accounting and tax work, I still recommend Doty Pruett. You above all will appreciate having your questions answered quickly and accurately.

  I came to Doty Pruett Wilson with a very complicated tax situation. We own two small businesses and around 100 apartment units. Tyson Pruett and Donald King have done a spectacular job. I have been very impressed with the quality of the work and advice and with how proactive they are in planning. This strategic thinking has allowed me to be more efficient and intentional with how I run my businesses. I absolutely recommend them and feel fortunate to have them in my corner!

  We made the decision to move to Doty & Company at the end of last year and have been very pleased. It was not an easy decision, as we had been with our previous CPA firm for over 20 years. However, we were looking for somebody who was ready to be more proactive for our growing business and somebody we could feel comfortable with for the next 20 years. We have not regretted our decision one bit, as working with Doug and Sharon has been a great experience. They have been very helpful both in proactive tax planning and in explaining even the simplest of things in plain English regarding our bookkeeping processes.   Doty & Co has been a huge help to us for our accounting/tax filing needs. We purchased a company less than a year ago and Ben helped us in explaining the different kinds of corporations as well as the how they can affect payroll taxes and owner disbursements. Mary helped me in setting up my Quickbooks and in understanding how to do the payroll. They walked us through everything and were extremely helpful. I fully trust them and believe they have a high level of integrity. I would (and have) recommended them to any of my friends or family.

  Could not be more pleased with our service!!! We also switched our personal and corporate taxes to Doug and his team. The first year went smoothly as Holly (our staff CPA) is a good communicator, excellent, efficient and patiently answers all our questions. Integrity is obvious in this firm and yet they are always searching for how to find you the best tax advantage.

  Have worked with Ben for 11 years. Feel like he is easy to contact and very knowledge. They are not the cheapest around but I would definitely say they are the sharpest knife in the drawer. I feel like they maximize my tax savings and have been a key asset to grow my business from one employee to a company grossing over a million. They watch my back for me and I trust them completely!

  Did not help me figure out the forms I needed to file when my 2013 taxes were stolen. Did not file my 2014 taxes. Did not set up my 2014 payment plan. Did not communicate well after discovering the error. Blamed the IRS initially. Did not help me deal with the IRS once I was hit with late filing and late payment fees. This is a big deal to me given my line of work which requires strict legal adherence. Worst of all, I have not received even an apology for all of this. They have completely ignored the two e-mails I sent expressing my frustration and disappointment. Very weird to be treated so badly by a company offering such a high end service.
