  STAY AWAY!!! Dealing with this bank feels like a scam! you have been warned!!! I'm a real-estate agent and my client told me they want to work with this agent from Devon Bank to close on this transaction. In summary the agent I worked with showed ultimate lack of responsiveness, lack of responsibility, and absolute lack of professionalism in every single aspect. Eventualy my client was facing the risk of losing the earnest money because we delayed closing date multiple times and we were still not able to get the loan. And this caused huge tension between all parties involved and everyone was stressed to death! At the very end with our last chance to process the loan, they did a naive mistake with numbers, and the correct numbers were more by about 9k or so (don't remember the exact number) that my client now has to come up with all of the sudden. Of course they refused to take any responsibiltiy on this or to help my client with it by simply saying that mistakes happens and we are sorry but that's it. Eventually we got it done, but with my client having to pay lots of more money and even more extra money for some special arrangement that we had to do in order to close on time because they pushed us to the extreme limit. Strongly DO NOT recommend anyone to work with this bank or any of its agents.

  this is what I think about Devon Bank. Nice a friendly service very attentive and helpful to any wake in customers. I had a car lone in 1999 with them and the interest rate was very nice for a first time buyer. Now I have a small business and I am back with my first time bank. I recommend every one to support the community bank in there community... that will help each other out.Feels like home....Nice and sharp and professional staff... very respectful and attentive to all clients... this is a BANK not a STOCMARKET... it is honest and helpful to all local home and business owners in the community... This is my bank my home my community

  Excellent service. I worked with Abdihakim and his team. He was always available to answer all my questions and I felt very supported going through the mortgage. Highly recommended.

  WORST BANK EVER!!! The 4 prev. POOR reviews are spot on. I tried to deposit into saving plus checking and asked for teller to look up my account numbers, she made mistake on checking slip and made new slip FOR SAVINGS without me noticing. she deposited 5k into savings and I paid checks assuming she can read. I now have several late payment and overdraft fees (+ negative to my credit) associated with her incompetence. Many times ive had issues with brainless employees regret I didn't switch sooner. Their online banking and phone teller systems are a joke. The place is outdated and STINKS. The safe box area downstairs was leaking water from ceiling just 10Ft from the boxes :0. This manager cost them a customer of almost 10yrs today and I hope she keeps scaring off all the customers so they can shut this dump down already. I haven't met a single competent employee at this place.

  EDIT: Revising my review because of some frustrating experiences. I traveled overseas, and called each time I was going from one country to another, and still had my credit card automatically blocked twice for suspicious activity and had to call to reset it. The representatives on the phone were nice and gracious, but the software that they're using made this it a frustrating experience. Everything is good now, but I wish I hadn't had to go through that.

  Amazing Islamic financing experience. Fasting closing. We were able to close in Less than 3 weeks. Abdihakim worked on my Murabha mortgage and he was very helpful.

  OMG STAY AWAY First of all this is the 1st negative review that I have ever given to a company. For me to take time out of my day to complain is unheard of - that is how bad this bank sucks. Members of my family have a trust at Devon Bank. It has taken over 1 & 1/2 YEARS to get them to do anything. The bank president even called me to apologize and assure me things will get taken care of quickly. Now I have to hire attorneys to move the trust to another bank. Do yourself a favor and use a GOOD bank.

  Very Very Bad Customer Service, Trying to Call them about my Refinancing Home for About a week, they Never ever returning Phone Calls. They Should take a action on their employees to provide good customer service to their Clients.

  We have used Devon Bank for our commercial banking for over 20 years. Convenient locations and drive-up banking are a plus. Someone is always available to answer any questions or concerns. Never have had a bad experience with customer service or tellers. They are very involved in the community and the needs of their customers.

  Excellent customer service by Abdul Hakim Ali and Madeline Diaz. Although we went thru a roller coaster ride having LLC issues with Guidance Financial during the process, but end of the day am a happy camper. Would definitely recommend Abdul Hakim to my family & friends.
