  My wife and I came from out of state and wanted to set up accounts at a large credit union, with a lot of branches. We liked the fact that Desert Financial branches are open until 7:00 p.m. I also like how I can access my out-of-state credit union through their web-site and transfer money into my Desert Financial account. We went to the Glendale branch to sit down with a representative who could help us set our accounts up, with some complex issues. Sophia Felix was outstanding. She spent about 1 1/2 hours with us. She ensured everything was done and worked before we left. When I e-mailed her a week later about another issue she phoned me back to ensure it was taken care of, and explained my options. She is a hard worker and is good representative for the credit union. She certainly made us feel like we made the right choice.

  I have been with Desert Financial for years. I have always receive GREAT SERVICE and ATTENTION. Other banking facilities treat you like a number, Desert Financial treats you like you are part of their family. It is enjoyable experience taking care of my financial needs there! I appreciate, trust and respect them!!

  I am in the middle of a divorce due to domestic violence. This bank refused to release the statements of me and my ex husband's joint checking account. The account my paycheck was direct deposited into and they are legally obligated to provide statements to. To "protect his privacy" they claimed. I have an order of protection and police reports. He has pending assault charges. They treated me like the criminal when all I'm trying to do is cut ties with a very dangerous man. It felt like being victimized all over again. I will be closing all of my accounts with this shady institution as soon as possible.

  I have been a member here for over 20 years and the customer service is amazing. This is a bank that truly cares about the members and the ease of banking with them makes everything simple.

  Desert Financial for over 43 years and we've NEVER had a bad experience. We had very bad experiences with Chase, especially reaching them on the phone . One of the managers gave us incorrect information about my father's trust and didn't do what we asked him to do. He just went ahead and set up a trust account, even though we could do that later. After 3 appointments (he didn't take the time to do what we needed and had to reschedule several times) he still didn't do what we wanted. As a result of the delay we lost several thousand dollars. We did file a complaint but I doubt if anything was done about it. Avoid this bank like the plague!!! Desert Financial is a thousand times better. We also went to Wells Fargo for a refinance on our house and way over paid for it and ended up with a higher interest rate. This credit union is so much better than the large banks we have dealt with in the past.

  I have used Desert Financial for over 20 years. I have refinance cars through them and have a second at my house for them. They truly meet all my financial needs

  The only thing I hated was being asked to evaluate one of Desert Financial’s employee’s for zero pay. Now that I am an executive in this company I think it’s time to review my benefit package. You have my address. I’ll look for my paycheck in the mail. I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Desert Financial family.

  Excellent service, they strive to help anyone build their financial future. Setting you up with the right goals to get you started. The mobile app is wonderful and user friendly. Credit unions care about their members and don’t try to nickel and dime your accounts. I highly recommend desert financial credit union!

  I recently completed a automobile refinance and my experience was breathtaking! The customer service I received was above your normal every day interactions. I actually felt like a part of the desert schools family. I will always do my business with this branch. The associate Sophia Felix was patient and followed up with me throughout the entire process. Even when all the papers were signed and completed she was kind enough to give me some tips about my gap coverage and said to call her about any issues what so ever. On the way out of the branch we chatted with the manager about current events again making me feel like a family member they haven’t seen in awhile. The experience was topped off with a $25.00 gift card and a farewell by two wonderful women. Amazing you’ve got a member for life!
