I went to dinner with my family. My bank card was declined. There is money in my account. I tried running to a near by ATM to try to withdrawal some money to pay my bill. ATM wouldn't let me withdrawl money either. I tried callling delta credit union to try to get help so be able to pay my bill. They said there was nothing they can do. They told me to call Monday because some department was close. Should i keep going. All I can say this is the worse experience ever. I wish this on no one. I'm going to bank as soon as possible take all what belongs to me and go far away from this delta community credit union as possible. Worst worst experience ever.

Have been a credit member since I went to work at delta Airlines in 1964. I draw very little interest on an IRA account(120.00$ amonth) and a checking account (over 30,000$ in the Checking account-about 1.30$ a month.) When I joined the credit Union the purpose was to make funds available for borrowing by fellow employees and members at a good rate and pay decent interest rates to the lenders and depositors. The DECU has grown dramatically since those days of George Williams and other officers who were in on the ground floor. Now I see the current CEO-Hank Halter on television quite often and extolling the community involvement and DECU's generosity in making funds available for community projects and college scholarships to deserving students. I would remind these managers who are freely giving away OUR money-that it is not the job of the credit union to be good corporate citizens-but rather manage the money they control. As a depositor I am not interested in any of these largess-es. That is taken care of by our Taxes. Just take care of the money and stick to the original plan-decent borrowing rates and decent returns on the investors?depositors money. Felton Hudson

Literally one stop shopping for all banking needs. They provide a host of services that you don't find in regular banks. The staff if friendly and professional. The ATM even gives singles !! My only complaint is that I cannot give it 6 stars

I'm a member of 2 other C.U's, but Delta is part of the Credit Union Services group so i use their branch often. Extremely friendly from the time I come in the door until I leave. Most banks do not offer this level of service.

Been with delta community credit union for quite sometime. Coming from being a regular at the sandy springs/dunwoody location to just being a new visitor @ the virginia ave location there's a huge difference in customer service provided. Haven't enjoyed visiting this location since moving to the area things are always slow & unprofessional

In the past my experiences with Delta Community Credit Union (DCCU) have been excellent. Based on my experience, I convinced my daughter to leave her mega bank and join DCCU. She recently graduated from college and started a new, full-time job in January 2014. Her first paycheck was mailed as it takes a couple of payment cycles for direct deposit to start. She deposited her paycheck on January 25, 2014. The teller told her it would be held, except $200, for two business days, meaning all funds would be available by Tuesday, January 28, 2014. She based her bill payments on this. She had one payment rejected and though they paid the other 2 they charged her service fees. She called customer service on Wednesday 1/29/14 to see what the problem was and told to call back because this problem needed to be escalated. She called back today, Thursday, 1/30/14, and spoke with a female at DCCU. This person proceeded to tell her it was her fault and she should be careful the next time. She asked her how it was her fault since she didn't pay anyone until the 3rd business day and the money should have been credited by then. The female also told her she gets 2 credits for overdrafts per year and these are her two. How are these her two when it's was DCCU's fault? The female again stated that my daughter needed to be careful. First, my daughter works for a Fortune 500 company and I believe her paycheck was a draft which means it wasn't going to bounce. Second, how can she be careful about money that should have already been in her account? DCCU needs to RE-TRAIN the staff on how to graciously admit fault and give better customer service!

One has to write a letter to close a credit card? After logging into phone banking and then literally answering every security question they ask you? And then when you ask if you can close it in a branch the phone rep doesn’t know? Just bad..... Edit: So went to a branch today to close credit card. Nope, no can do, need a letter. Really? Like standing in front of you with my ID telling you I want to close the account isn’t good enough? Back to Navy Federal I go for primary banking and credit products.

Delta community credit union has become big enough that they seem to think they don’t need to care about the customer experience anymore and that’s too bad. I would encourage anyone looking at a credit union to check other options.
