Rick Waltman1I used the credit union to finance an auto loan a couple of years ago. I paid off the loan early and had $7.92 remaining in my account. I got a letter stating that I would start getting a $5 monthly service fee since I had not used my account for a long time. I stopped by the CU to close my account and was told by the teller that he could not close my Account. I had to have an appointment with one of the bankers. They were booked for the day. Of course looking at the bankers none of them had any customers and didn’t appear to be doing a whole lot. I finally said I just want to withdraw $7.91. He said I had to leave at least $5 in my account.. I said OK then I will just withdraw $2.91 and you can keep the $5. Then I was told that I need to make a deposit before I can withdraw money since it’s been so long since I’ve use my account. What a piece of work! I told him to keep the money! It’s not worth the hassle! Not very consumer friendly or good PR for a financial institution to be so difficult to work with over something so simple! The security guard should be able to close an account!

Chaos Reigns1Cyprus Credit Union on Union PK. has the rudest tellers I've ever had the pleasure to meet. I've been with this bank since 1993. I will be moving to Mountain America where I did my dad's banking and treated wonderful and could get any roll of change I wanted. Not rudely told we will not give out coins, just take it. Kids that you need to go to a mannerism class.

Richard L. Sanders5Fastest time I've ever had to wait at a bank drive thru during peak hours. The teller Spencer was very helpful and friendly, and he even laughed at my dad jokes. So 5 stars, would recommend!

Douglas Marx1Wow! I’d give a zero if I could. Went to close my account, total balance $25.92. Teller ends up giving me $15.92. Asked about the other $10.00 and he said it was an “early account closing fee”. What a rip off. I could have withdrawn $20.92 and walked away leaving the account open for them to deal with forever. Never, ever bank with this credit union. I have never had a problem like this before. #greedybankers

Derek Sandoval5I used to dread coming to this branch because of a bad experience once. Though I must say things have changed for the better. I also would like to say a special thank you to Juli. My personal banker doesn’t even come close to the service she provided. I love the changes, people here seem a lot happier and do a great job. Thank you!

Julia1Update. They shut down my account permanently and refused to open it back up and I had no idea that was going to happen. Nothing in my message box or anything. They also said I owe 53 cents on my credit card. Don’t know how cause I paid it off. I live abroad currently and they said “if you could just bring in that 53 cents to the bank for the credit card”. 53 cents?? Hilarious. This is the worst credit union. They don’t even do currency exchange, their phone hours of help are minuscule, they’ve canceled cards while I’ve been abroad, canceled international payments even when I’ve mentioned several times I’d be abroad on different occasions. You can’t send money to people through their app, they wouldn’t improve me past a $600 in years.

Kyarie arie2Everything with my regular banking went fine and the staff was nice.. When I got in a car accident Cyprus was anything but helpful. I needed a car loan and after they pulled my credit was told I would qualify for a 2.89% interest. When the loan specialist reviewed the application they said that because I didn't have loan history it would go up to 8%... Seriously? Then I had to deposit the check I got from my car being totaled but because it was in mine and my step-dads names they wouldn't let me, even though he signed it.. What a pain. America First was able to get everything done really easily for me. They got me a loan with a rate of 2.9% and deposited the check..

Siddharth Mishra1Pathetic experience! Employees doesn't have knowledge and they don't know what questions should be asked before they hit your credit scores. I went for car refinancing and the guy made a pull on my credit history and then called someone to make final decision. First they changed the amount of the loan then they said me to bring someone's reference as I am on working visa and not citizen. These questions came after they hit my credit history. They don't know how to work. They are just there to fool you.
