  Carlos was an absolute gem through this entire process! He was extremely easy to work with and even more helpful with any question at all that came up! He made this process for our first home-buy so smooth it felt perfect. I will recommend him to any and everybody! He is extremely personable and has exceptional customer service. There is not a single negative thing we could possibly ever say about Carlos. It's rare to find somebody that is that great at their job and Carlos by far was the best, hold onto him, he's a GREAT one!! We appreciate him so much! Thank you!!

  Carlos and his team went above and beyond for us! My husband and I are first time home buyers so we were pretty nervous initially. Carlos helped us look at our finances and find what monthly mortgage we’d be comfortable with and used that to help us figure out what we were comfortable with overall. We threw numbers around for days and he answered every silly question with patience. He truly walked through the process with us! His team members were prompt with their communication and kept us in the loop from day one to closing day. We are grateful!

  Working with Carlos Unzueta is always a pleasure, as he went out of his way for us to make our refinance as easy as possible. He was always available for us, he made things easy to understand. He is wonderful and has a fantastic team that works hard to pull all the details together, I appreciate them all so much! I always recommend him to anyone that I know who is looking to buy a house, as this is the second time we have worked with him ourselves.

  I cannot recommend Carlos Unzueta and his team more! I just walked out of a very fast, 0 issue closing, and the title company made sure to let me know how great it is to deal with CrossCountry. My real estate agent also said “your mortgage guy (Carlos) isn’t messing around, most closings aren’t that smooth”. If you need to get a mortgage, and you want a hard working, professional, and dedicated team, you have found it! 100% honesty, backs up what they say they can do, and they probably work harder and longer hours than anyone you have ever met (I am not sure if this guy sleeps). If you haven't noticed, the real estate market is kind of crazy right now (early 2021). I sold my condo, and needed to find a new place to live in a short period of time. I talked to Carlos at CrossCountry, and he helped me prepare for the frantic journey ahead of me (explained the process, gave me advice, helped me budget, and assured me we could get this done (that I wouldn't have to move into my truck), and most importantly got me a real pre-approval either that day or early the next day. I had this very important piece of paper before I was even looked at the first house. He set me up for success right from the start! When I found a property, I called Carlos and he let me know that he could do a 30-day closing, which made my offer stronger in this competitive seller's market. Luckily, my second offer was accepted! That is when I started working with one of his teammates, Daniela. Daniela guided me through the rest of the process and got me through the underwriting process. She was patient, communicative, supportive, and got me over the finish line with time to spare. The best part was, she was able to anticipate issues ahead of time and make sure we didn't encounter any of them. The whole process seemed easy for me, but I am sure that it was TONS of work for her. All in all, the best thing about the whole process was feeling/knowing that I was in good hands. The mortgage process is complicated and problems can arise. I knew that Carlos and Daniela would do whatever they could to get me across the finish line on time. They weren't going to fail due to lack of caring, preparation, or willingness to work. I got a great rate, and I was able to purchase the house that I wanted on time. Looking back on the whole process, I honestly don't remember worrying about mortgage at any point. The mortgage was "taken care of". Jeff
